I love this rug , I was very unsure about ordering it online as most come thin and not as described . I’ve wasted money to many times . But I was pleasantly surprised with this rug. It’s beautiful . Just as described . Nice thickness and once laid out it only took a couple hours to lay flat . I got 2 runners in the same color because I loved it so much . I didn’t put a pad under one of them as it didn’t need it but I did for the runner in hallway because I have dogs that run a lot and didn’t want it sliding. Sorry that this pretty rug smelled of strong mildew. This has happened with another rug I bought at Pottery Barn and the customer service told me the rugs are actually washed in India after they are made and if the rug isn't completely dry before packaging then mildew will persist. It's such a shame and to think of all the work it take to make the rugs, and possibly by children, and then for the merchandise to be unusable. Very sad. ... show more
