Bought this for a basement family room to put over LVT flooring. It is so nice! Not what expected but better. I know people have been saying there are creases that won't come out. If you steam them with a clothing steamer, they come out. It comes folded and not rolled because of the size. It's a flat weave not a cut pile wool. So just steam the creases or just wait a while and they will un-crease in time, or just run a humidifier. I will not be returning it. Its not soft like many other wool rugs I own so that is why I gave it a 4 and not a 5. Its a bit itchy feeling as compared to other softer rugs. ... show more

Purchased 2 rugs for my new house. One of the rugs arrived with lots of dents that never filled out. It’s under my dining room table, so it’s no big deal. The rugs are gorgeous and the color is perfect with my decor- BUT, these things shed like CRAZY! I constantly have to vacuum the rugs and sweep my floors (sometimes more than once a day). I am really impressed by this runner, I needed something for the hallway that wasn't too expensive and wanted something neutral. The pattern is very muted, although I'll note it leans more toward ivory/ecru than beige for those who might need something more beige overall. Also, its not a tufted rug, more like a weave, but thats one of the reason's I am so happy with it, I was expecting it to be tufted and a bit unsure how it would look, the heavy wool weave is much nicer. I ordered one of these rugs or my bedroom and absolutely loved it. I was so pleased, I ordered a second one for the living room. Sadly, this second rug sheds 1 inch threads of wool constantly. They stick to your socks and have transferred to all my furniture and every room of the house. Vacuuming over and over has only helped minimally. I should have wrapped the rug back up the moment I opened the wrapping. The mold smell is intense. Now that the rug is completely unwrapped and placed in my living room, it feels like too much work to rewrap and send back. The rug is more white than ivory and has a subtle silver design.
