The SAFAVIEH Madison Collection is absolutely beautiful. I have a short and a medium long runner as well as a round 5’ rug and it does not only look pretty on my light brown carpet, the color combinations easily hide spots made by my grandkids and cats. Vacuuming is easy without entanglements and the corners/carpet ends stay down. Upon arrival I put each rug face down on my carpet for a day to regain its shape after tight packaging; it worked like a charm. Normally I’m not a fan of blue/grey/orange but in this case I totally love the combination and the charm it brings to my apartment. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical after reading the worst. Although this rug had really good reviews, I often look at the negative reviews when purchasing items to make my final decision. The rig is GREAT…all the colors that I thought I wanted. When the rug arrived , I was very pleased. I followed the directions and rolled the rug the reverse way for a couple of days. On the last day I unrolled it and put a couple of heavy objects on the edges. I really didn’t need to do much. By the time I got ready to use the rug, it was flat, no wrinkles, no rolls. Perfect. The key is to unroll it and then roll it the reverse way so that it lays flat. I’m very pleased. I also like it because of the multiple colors. I have young children so it makes it easier to camouflage food and stains that I might not notice right away. I hope this rug lasts a very long time. If it doesn’t, I will come back to write a review in about 4 to 6 months. LOL ... show more

I almost canceled the ordered rug because the negative reviews made me second guess my choice...but the rug came today and already dispels my misgivings. 1. Colors are true to the photos on Amazon 2. Does not look like camo 3. Does not have a weird overpowering smell. Just smells like new carpet. 4. Unfolded to be wrinkled but already starting to flatten out after a few hours. ... show more

The rug came folded, it was easy enough to unfold and lay flat, I’ve only had it down a few hours and it is settling nicely. I do have books on the corners. I was looking for a rug with greens and turquoise, this has those and light blue, beige, and ivory. It is beautiful. It really goes well with my rich teal velvet curtains.
