Excellent long runner! The colors are deep and rich. It is weighty and the pile is thick, dense, deep, soft, and feels good underfoot, and you can still open a door over it. It came rolled up and I laid it out wrong-side-up for three days and it is fully flat with turning it over. It stays put on top of my slip resistant pad (which was not the case with a previous, less well made rug). This is a great buy! I’m getting a matching smaller one for the front door and likely will use this company for future purchases when we go all wood floors. It was delivered quickly too! Well done! ... show more

I really love my new rug. The pattern makes the room look bigger. It’s very very pretty and I think it will last a long time. Seems to be very well-made. The only downside to this rug is the color tends to show any crumbs if you have children or grandchildren as I do, I vacuum now twice a day. I think that is a small price to pay for a very beautiful rug, so I do not mind. I did buy a 1/2 inch padding to go under it, which makes it very soft to walk on. This rug was well worth the price. The colors are very nice and it is softer than I was expecting, but it arrived folded over 12-15 times and then wrapped tightly in plastic so there are sharp creases everywhere - it looks like a tray of school pizzas. Why would you not roll an area rug this big? I have vacuumed it and am giving it a few days to see if the creases come out of it, but I don't understand who would fold up a rug like they were homogenizing steel. I will be extremely disappointed if this does not flatten out, I have no idea how to return something like this. I'm giving 3 stars atm for the really stupid packaging, will update after while and see. I really hope it does flatten because every other Safavieh product I have ever purchased has been wonderful. -UPDATE- I have had this rug down in the guest bedroom now for over a month, it did lay for the most part but not everywhere. There are several seamlines in the carpet that look like there is a stitch there but it isn't, it's from where it was shipped folded over so many times. I don't know if anyone else will ever notice and there is a queen bed covering most of it, but it's the first thing my eyes go to when I walk in the room. I'm updating it to a 4-star because the feel underfoot and the colors/pattern are both quite gorgeous, but I just can't give that last star because why not just roll it and not have these issues? ... show more

This rug was purchased for my entryway. It is beautiful and looks just how I imagined it would. Nice quality. This rug has thickness and nice color. After a little over a year in the main hall it hasn't shown any noticeable wear. Very happy with this purchase!
