I remodeled my kitchen so of course I made it big. It looks nice but maybe if I had used a contractor he/she would have warned me that I would never get a rug to fit. I finally figured out on my own that if I put two regular rugs side by side it would be perfect. I really like these rugs as they are nice and soft and relaxed within a day. Donโ€™t get these thinking the dark color will hide little messes. Itโ€™s not busy enough for that. My husband stepped in the middle of a black section and I could see every detail of his shoe print like I was a guest character on CSI. Also I hoped the rug would live up to being non skid. It has a jute like backing, not rubber, so while it moves around the floor every time I step on it itโ€™s really easy to tug it back in place with my toe. I have some of those mats you are supposed to put under rugs so I will dig them out before the tugging drives me nuts ... show more

This is a lovely rug. It fit the hall very nicely. What surprised me was that it has a good nap and feels soft underfoot. Later in the year I will look into getting another rug from here that's not a runner.

I used this rug to brighten up my entryway foyer. Previously I had a navy blue with black and maroon trim rug and it just seemed to make the whole entryway dark and unwelcoming.
