I got this for my 5 year old daughter to practice and play with makeup. I LOVE that it comes in a carry case that latches shut. Its easy to latch and unlatch, so my kiddo is able to use this completely independently. I wish there were more colors to choose from, as these are sets of doubles on the eyeshadow, and 3 of the same red lipstick but my daughter doesnt seem to care. She loves it and feels like a princess when she gets to play dress up with makeup at home. The listing has this targeted for 8-12, but I do find it pretty juvenile and I know my 12yo nice wouldnt use this at all. I think this should be targeted as play makeup for little kids, in lieu of preteen makeup. The brushes work pretty good and stick into their slots on the case easily. The powder pallets, both the blush and eyeshadow, are firmly packed in, and have not crushed or broken during her play or with her toting the case around the house. So, I would say they are made quite well. The colors show up very well on her Caucasian skin. The nail polish is cheap, but vibrant colors. We do 2 coats and it gives the colors a nice pop, so its not dull at all. She really loves the nail polishes. In all, I would buy this again as a play makeup kit for little kids.

This makeup kit is adorable. It is a great starter kit for a begginer and makes a nice gift for a child or grandbaby that wants make-up. The case is really nice and is just the right size for starting out. It has everything a little girl needs, from brushes to eyeshadow, lipstick, blush and even nail polish. The colors are nice and vibrant and the makeup is easy to apply and remove. All and all, I think this is great and I recommend this kit.

Got this for my daughter who's 11 and just getting into makeup. It's a nice set, but honestly feels better suited for younger kids, probably ages 6-10 so we gave it to my 9 years old niece. The train case is adorable and she loves carrying it around. Comes with lots of pieces: four eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, blushes, brushes. Plenty for a little one to play and experiment with. The washable formula is great, comes off easily with water, no stains. Nice peace of mind for parents. For a little girl or younger tween just starting to play with makeup, this would be perfect. Still a good value for what you get. Just keep the age in mind.

A fun kit for your 8-12 year old, but pricey! And adult Supervision Required!! Ok, this comes with lipstick and nail polish, so if you don’t want to replace the carpet in your kid’s room I suggest you keep a close eye on this kit. It says ‘washable’ and that is lovely, but we all know that if you don’t catch it right away you’re in trouble. My niece and I used these on one of her older dolls that can go into the bathtub and she had a blast making her beautiful again and again. The case is very nice and will hold Barbies and their clothes when the make-up is gone, so that is good. I think that I will stick to the kid’s make-up from Wal-Mart next time as there isn’t a lot of product for the price of the kit and while she liked this a lot, she liked the other just as much.

This is a very fun makeup kit for kids/teens. Comes with all the make up things needed for them to have hours of fun. Lots of bright pretty colors and comes with brushes to apply. Most little girls love makeup so this would be a perfect gift or just a nice surprise overall. It’s a nice size kit and didn’t cause any irritation to the skin.

They will be able to keep everything stored neatly inside of this suit case. This suit case is secure it locks when needed. This case will store easily because of the slim design.
