This rug is attractive & good for an office with pets that pop in (suits our use) but it has different levels of pile and it could be dangerous for elderly people or any age people with accessibility challenges. I hadn't read the reviews before buying it because it suited our office colors but I wish I had. It is also pretty wrinkled too so we are hoping some of this will settle down but the pile variations appear to be intentional for artistry. It is plush in some places and thinner in others leading to a slightly unstable surface. We like it but for the price we had hoped for more because Amazon has quite a few rugs in this price range. Love this rug! Got the grey, and the colors and textures are just as described and shown. It vacuums very well - easy with no shedding. It took a day to fluff up from the shipping, but then it was beautiful. We are thrilled with this rug and are getting a second in a different size for another room.
