Ok, so we have dogs, cats, kids, etc... We go through rugs every couple years, so we have tried many brands and lines within the brands. We really like the Safavieh brand and some of their super plush varieties. We liked the color/pattern of the rug in the pictures and the reviews generally seemed good. We purchased and were surprised to see the significant variations in textures and patterns of the rug. Some of the reviews might have mentioned texture, but I didn't grasp the range of piles. Some of the areas are super plush and cushy while other areas are much less dense shag. I don't hate the rug, but I sort of wish it was all the super dense cushy pile. I'm sure the rug will hold up and serve us well, but I will pay a little more attention on our next renewal. From a functional perspective I could see this being a challenge for someone not real stable on their feet or using a walker/cain/crutches. Maybe they would just avoid rugs altogether, but the changes in texture can catch stuff if shuffling across it. Again, I like the rug, but... ... show more

    • Pretty but don’t buy insurance.

I love the rug. I bought insurance for stains. I tried to reach out a few times to them about getting it replaced as they said they would. But that’s not how it works. They sent me stain remover instead. Not happy.

I am very happy with this rug. I looked at many in stores and on line. When I ordered this, I thought it would blend nicely with my wall to wall carpet and create a special area in front of sofa and tv area. I received it 3 wks prior to opening it... very pleased with the quality.

First, we ended up with the wrong rug. We didn’t return it because the one they sent still matched and returning a rug is a huge pain. So that wasn’t a great start. BUT I love the look of the various pile heights in this rug and it’s comfortable- not incredibly soft but fine. I’m a little concerned about how long it will last, as the longer fibers fall out easily. With 2 toddlers and a cat, this is an issue for us. ... show more
