Features 5
- [DESIGN & PILE]: SAFAVIEH's Florida Shag rug holds a solid grey field inside a tonal border, and its plush 1 1/8" pile is cushioned without being unstable in a living room, bedroom or dining room.
- [SOFT UNDERFOOT]: Power-loomed from polypropylene at 1 1/8", a pile dense enough to keep the border line clean and to take high-traffic areas without matting, holding up in an entryway, hallway, home office or kitchen.
- [EASY CARE]: Vacuum with the beater bar off and blot spills with mild detergent and cool water; avoid soaking the backing.
- [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Fold creases settle within a few days laid flat. The border sits at a different scale on each size because it is drawn to the rug rather than repeated. A SAFAVIEH rug pad stops slipping and protects the floor.
- [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love.
Description
The SAFAVIEH Florida Shag 454 collection frames a solid shag field with a contrasting border in grey, an edge that defines a seating area without adding pattern underfoot. Each rug is power-loomed from polypropylene at 1 1/8", cushioned but still low enough to clear most furniture. Polypropylene resists matting, shedding and fading, which is what keeps a plain field from showing every traffic path. Florida Shag 454 suits a living room, bedroom or dining room that needs softness and a clean outline.

Nice quality
Size: 8' x 10' (Rectangular)
Color: Beige
I purchased this for our finished basement. I wish I could use it on my main level because it is so nice. It is soft and the sculpted yarn adds to the appearance.

Love a square rug
Size: 5' x 5' (Square)
Color: Creme
I have SEVEN Safavieh rugs. I love every one of them. Worth spending lots of time finding your perfect size and color… and no bloody beaters. They all are beautifully designed and great quality. All flatten out fairly quickly and if it does have a scent it leaves quickly. Have seen some negative reviews on some that have trouble with shedding etc., so read the reviews and move on to what suits your needs. They are a good company for rugs, especially compared to most of the other rug companies on Amazon or wherever. In my opinion!

Simple elegance!
Size: 6'7" (Round)
Color: Creme
This rug is absolutely gorgeous! I love everything about it! It's soft and thick. I don't even have a pad under it to keep it from moving on the laminate floors. It's big enough that it really doesn't move on the floor much at all. It's easy to vacuum and it looks gorgeous in my kitchen/dining area! I would recommend this rug to anyone! The price is right and the quality is superb!

Very pleased

Color: Creme
Beautiful. Looks like a quality rug in my room. Easy to vacuum- not too thick but very plush at higher spots of the design.

Nice rug but color wasn’t accurate
Size: 6'7" (Round)
Color: Creme
It’s a nice rug but the color is not a cream white. It’s more like an off whitish/beigy with yellow hues. The rug didn’t arrive in great condition so I sent it back. UPS picked it up the next day. Exchanged for another Safavieh rug. Process was quick and easy. Happy with Safavieh service along with Amazon service.

Average

Esthetically it's a beautiful rug with a nice color and design. Soft underfoot, but not as advertised, "High-density polypropylene pile provides one of the plushest feelings available in a rug". It is soft, but fibers are not dense, and definitely not "high density". The fibers are moderately loose, in other words, you can very easily get your fingers in between the fibers to the backing. If it were "high density" as advertised, you would not be able to do that. It is definitely NOT a 1 inch pile. It's 3/4 at BEST and that's if you pull up a piece of pile straight up against the measuring tape. This is directly from the "about this item"...Pile Height: 1 inch It does not have non slip backing If you don't mind adjusting the placement of the rug consistently, or the fact that it is not a 1 inch pile rug, then it's a good rug. Too expensive for it not being the height of the pile as advertised, with loose density, not "high density". Around $50 would have been more reasonable. To the Seller, if in fact you have this rug in a "1 inch high density pile", then perhaps I got a "lemon". Should you decide to replace it, I will be most happy to return this one. We'll see.

Really nice for the price! This rug stays put and feels nice under your feet. I was impressed with the quality for price. Actually cushy without being flimsy.
