This rug is amazing. Plush and so comfortable to walk on. The color is not pure sky blue, but rather has just a touch of greenish hint. It is just perfect for our space and I could not be happier with this rug. And, I do not say that lightly. I have recently purchased 4 new area rugs. All are this brand and all are wonderful. I highly recommned. Update: I have now owned this rug for almost three years. When I vacuum the rug, a ton of fiber comes out. I literally have to empty my sweeper cup three times while vacuuming this one rug after three years of ownership!! It does not look like it is getting thinner over time which is good but I can no longer really recommend this rug. First of all, I am happy with the purchase. I was looking for an ivory rug and was skeptical about buying a carpet with only 1 previous rating. I am giving 4 stars because the product description/ images do not reflect the actual product. It should not be hard to take real pictures and upload them for the customers. Also, there were several snagged loose threads over the rug when arrived. Other than that: -The product is slightly thicker than advertised but not so soft or plush. Therefore, it looks sleek. -The product is shedding crazy. While vacuuming, my clothes all got wool yarns. I am vacuuming the carpet two times per day and it is filling the vacuum cleaner after 3 days but this should be expected with wool rugs and should stop at some point. Overall, the product is good considering the price point for a wool rug and I would purchase it again. ... show more

The first thing I like about this rug is the fact that it is made with wool not some weird synthetic fabrics. It comes with a cute instruction massage in the box, it does shed but it doesn’t bother me as long as it is natural fiber and it is very manageable. It feels soft and looks very good.

This is THE WORST PURCHASE IN MY LIFE. I gave this rug so many chances, and it's just terrible quality, it sheds, I am vacuuming 5 times a day + collecting a handful of wool, and my clothes are full of wool. I look like I am living with 25 cats and 30 dogs, + inhale particles and sneeze nonstop.

This rug and brand totally surpassed my expectations. I spent hours, even days, analyzing different rugs, online comparing wait and pile, and weave. Wool rugs, have a certain smell because their wool in the shed because they are wool. That’s just part of it in my experience. So I wasn’t dissuade by those reviews. The rug is perfect for our living room. It brightened up the room & made the room look bigger. It’s been 4 months since we bought this rug & we don’t love it any more. I will not stop shedding! The fibers get all over our hardwood floors & tile. It is hard to get dirt & stains up even though we sprayed it with Scott's Guard. We are looking for a different rug. We have bought several Safavieh rugs & have loved all of them - but not this one. I am sorry we can’t get our money back. ... show more

This company usually makes decent products but this time just - meh. Needed rug for bathroom and while it fits that need, it sheds like crazy no matter how many times it is vacuumed. The color is ok - sort of slate blue. If I had to purchase again, would go a different direction.

It's exactly what I needed. A thick, cozy wool rug that is soft and cozy underfoot. It is not the looped wool, it is cut ends so it is extra soft and not bumpy. I love it so much. I bought the 5' round in ivory.
