This rug has a nice soft feel and will not mat down. I did buy a felt pad for extra cushioning. The colors are great: gold, soft yellow, dark blue, a little sage, a little teal. Really nice rug. More beautiful in person. Soft and dense feeling however needed a felt rug pad for extra cushion and to protect my wood floor. I've received so many compliments on it from guests! FYI the description notes ivory as a color, in my opinion it's more of a light modern grey. Works for me!

These rugs should be nice, but they came with folds in them. Hope it flattens out. Too bad, because they are nice for the entry way. Low pile, but still soft and looks nice. Except for the folds.
