The rug looks and feels great. I got many compliments on it…and complaints. For the first two months my guests left with carpet fibers all over them. I hope you have a really good vacuum and patience. Overall happy with my purchase…now that the shedding is subsiding.

Great looking rug but there was a lot of rug fiber or fuzz shedding that occurred at first. There seems to be much less now after a couple of weeks. I hope the rug lasts awhile because it is a gorgeous rug.

It has a great sheen that makes it look luxurious to me. It's not thick but it's soft. Definitely more gray than taupe for the gray/taupe option. I haven't experienced any of the shedding yet. This rug was a complete surprise to say the least. It was soft but just so weird and completely unexpected. It was so bright it was like walking into a shiny rave from the early 2000’s just wildly wildly bright. Unwrapping it was surprising and we even tried to put it down to just make sure and hope for the best but it was rolled back up within 5 minutes. Shipping was another train wreck haha. It’s heavy and large and I lugged it to fed ex, where it ended up getting lost. How this massive bright carpet got lost is beyond me. Probably found itself back at that rave vibing. It has a yellow color - as in dog pee yellow. If anything gets on it, nothing comes out. Not even with Folex spray. We had a professional carpet cleaning company come over & also said nothing will ever come out. It does shed a ton, but was a non issue for us (it because we use a robo vacuum daily.

I’m disappointed. The rug is much thinner than other safavieh rugs. Also, it’s not grey/silver. It’s ivory. The photographs never seem to illustrate the true color of the rugs. This will be the last rug I buy online. The rug is shedding like crazy. It’s in my kids mouth. This is dangerous.
