I was so pleased with this deal once we got it all put together. We bought it for our 7 year olds room. I put it together by myself. The instructions were simple and easy. You will need a flat head screw driver and a Phillips head, but that’s it! And an electric drill made it go faster. But it’s not necessary. I love the rounded edges on the desk top! Makes it feel more classy. The top is a different material it seems and looks more durable than other tops I’ve seen. It’s not reversible when putting it together. PROS: - Charming desk that suits my daughter's room and her needs. - The packaging was good. - The desk is sturdy once assembled. CONS: - It was a pain to put the desk together. The instructions are NOT CLEAR. And when I say NOT CLEAR, I mean NOT CLEAR. Some steps make you scratch your head and spend hours understanding what should go where. You must have some experience assembling the furniture and pretty good intuition to assemble this desk. - The base for the three drawers needs to be stronger.
