This is a beautiful runner ryg! I would definitely buy again. I just wish I would’ve known that it sheds. It’s ok on the white floor but it shows on my dark steps. This rug is a 5/5 but the shedding on the dark steps is why I gave it a 4/5.

My eyes like it but my bare feet say ‘meh’. I love the way it looks and I did not experience the stink or shedding that some others reported. But I have to say I am considering sending it back simply because it is not pleasing for my tootsies. I like a soft rug but this is a tight loop. Maybe in time it will be softer but I don’t know for sure. I’d rather have something softer to the touch. But outside of that, it is a beautifully made rug and looks like it would wear well. Do not use your vacuum with the beater bar engaged— as per the directions. As this is an all wool carpet you will constantly get "fuzz" when you vacuum. Otherwise, the firm yet soft feel underfoot and the great colors really look and feel great!

I fell in LOVE with the photo and after much debate, I took a chance and ordered. The price was not awful, especially for the size. The rug arrived ahead of schedule, even ahead of Amazon text notifications! I was impressed at the speed of delivery. Packaged very well too so I had minimal issues removing creases. However... the dip-dye technique in the photo appears all over, but my rug had a few "spots" that were dyed. The visual effect is the rug looks damaged. Old. Worn out. Almost as if I spilled bleach in a few spots. The energy & strength required to return this behemoth means... I'm stuck with it. Its pretty heavy & cumbersome. So I was mislead by the term "pile height" and thought this was pile, NOT a loop rug/berber. I also looked closely at the picture and didn't see the loops. I love the simple but classic pattern and the irregular color. I had it on the floor for 10 minutes and my cat had already pulled some threads. So disappointed. Cool rug and design, but the smell is AWFUL. We let it air out in another room with a fan on it for a couple days, shampooed it, and we are now trying to febreeze it. The smell has lingered on the rug for at least a couple weeks.
