Worth every penny! This looks so good if you're into a natural looking rug. Not overcomplicated, but very well made from my first impression. It obviously came with a few creases because it needs to be shippable, but nothing that won't dissappear, or at least that's easily removable with an iron and damp towel. This rug is thick which adds to the quality feel, and it doesn't seem like it would shed much if at all. I also wasn't expecting it to be as soft as it is! I may not roll around on it, but under the foot, its nice. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a rug like this. All the other rugs I looked at seemed to have creasing problems, but this almost layed completely flat once I unrolled it! ... show more

Found this beautiful 3x5 woven rug for my patio and it was exactly the look and vibe I was going for! It is the perfect weight and feels comfortable/smooth under the feet! The color is beautiful and looks exactly like the photo. As far as washability/ease of cleaning and dirt retention, my patio is covered so I cannot speak on how it does in the rain— if I want to tidy up out there, I can run my vacuum over it and it’s good as new. The price was incredible so I bought two and it has truly elevated my patio space, making it an excellent extension of my apartment! If you are considering this rug, buy it! Just what I was looking for! Nice and thick. Quality material. I was prepared to shake out any loose fibers when I opened it, but nothing was flying off when I was beating it outside. It doesn’t take but a day for the rug to let go of its curled edges from being packaged. Really like the light wheat color. I was a little upset when my puppy had an accident on it, but I was able to hose it off outside really well on both sides and spray some pet spray on it. Good as new! It’s perfect for the price and my oddly large back door. I think I need to get a non slip mat and try that out now for underneath it. It’s not bad but it does move around a bit with the dogs coming and going. My mother came over and had me send her the link because she loved it so much. ... show more

I really wanted to love the Safavieh Cape Cod rug, but unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment. The overall quality is extremely poor. The rows are poorly sewn together, and you can easily see where the stitching starts to come apart after only a short time. It also sheds constantly, leaving fibers all over the floor no matter how often you vacuum. Also, it is ruining my Roomba. Another major issue is that it does not lay flat — the edges curl up and no amount of time, weight, or effort seems to help. It gives the rug a cheap, uneven look that completely ruins the space. To make matters worse, Safavieh refuses to assist with replacements or returns if you didn’t buy directly from the manufacturer. Even when you provide proof of purchase from a reputable retailer, their customer service is unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, this rug is not worth the money. It looks nice in photos, but in reality, it’s poorly made, sheds constantly, won’t stay flat, and the company doesn’t stand behind its product.
