Over the past 3.5 years I’ve purchased this rug twice in two different sizes. While it is a thin, compact rug it works wonders in high traffic areas of your home- it’s pet hair friendly, doesn’t fray, and it’s very comfortable to walk on. The color is as described, and after a year of wear on my current rug I still find that the ivory sections are holding up well. I have a rather tenacious golden retriever that spares no expense when it comes to meddling with the rug, but despite his digging, pulling and occasional chewing it’s still going strong. After researching several different rugs, I finally decided on this one. I got the 8’x10’ one for my living room. I was pleasantly surprised. It is really pretty to look at and while it is not very thick, it is pretty soft. I use interlocking foam squares (from Sam’s Club) that you would use in a gym or child’s playroom as the padding underneath and it works great. I dropped a small bit of sauce on it and it wiped up easily. It was great that it was delivered for free, so I didn’t have the additional expense of renting a truck to pick it up or having to tie it down and risk damaging my car. ... show more

The pattern and colors are beautiful but it's extremely thin and thus hard. Wish it was plush and thicker so it was soft but for the price and aesthetic, it's good.

Since so thin, it does not "lay still" well. If our dog runs on it, it shifts or ripples. We have a non-slip rug pad under it for hard flooring, but the absolute lack of weight of this rug allows it to be moved too easily. Not happy with it, but threw away all the shipping stuff. Have purchased other runner by same manufacturer but it was a much heavier weight. This one is like a stack 5 sheets of paper together. :( ... show more
