So I couldn't figure out from the other reviewers' photos if this rug was light colored gray or dark ...well, swipe it one way it is darker, swipe the other it's lighter. And typically stays on the lighter side once walked on. We have 3 kids and 2 small dogs so I debated this color but so far it's holding up good so I'm glad that I went with it! Super soft to your feet too. I have a rug pad but I haven't even put it under it yet. Great value for the money - if over time it does get stained up, at least you can buy a new one at that price! ..Now I need a new chair and coffee table. 🤔🤪

I purchased this rug to replace our very heavy and thick wool rug that sheds horribly. Now, I was afraid that the color might differ from photos, but it's exactly what I was looking for. We have pets, so I purchased this because it's stain resistant and doesn't shed. I vacuumed it as soon as I unrolled it, and it did NOT shed. Thank goodness. Very happy with this purchase. NOTE: you can change the lightness/darkness of the colors with the direction of the vacuum or broom.

Excellent rug, very soft and it arrived earlier than estimated. I unrolled it to smooth it out. It was way less “ wavy” than the outdoor rug I just got for inside. It’s gray, subtle, and has beautiful boho colors. Would repurchase from this seller and brand again. Update: I ordered a second one in this exact color, just in a smaller size. Again, it arrived perfectly and both rugs look beautiful together in our home office.

This review is for the Safavieh 6' x 9' area rug BTN865N shown in attached photo. The rug has an appealing design and appears to be well made. The carpet was delivered rolled in a plastic sleeve with no damage. Upon opening the package I was overwhelmed by a strong solvent odor. I rolled the rug on the floor and opened the windows hoping the smell would dissipate but after several hours the odor was still very strong. The solvent smell was very similar to Trichlorethylene, a chemical used in cleaning fabrics. The smell was so bad that I got a headache and dizzy and became nauseated. Even my dog got sick. I moved the carpet outside and hung it up hoping it would air out. After two days outside it still smelled as strong as ever. Washing the rug my remove the odor but you would need a commercial washing machine and the solvent may damage the machine. I definitely would not recommend this carpet to anyone it is a health hazard!

finding a large rug that didn't cost $500 and up that I liked took some searching. I couldn't find anything in the dimensions I needed but this covers the majority of the area I wanted covered and made sense for the seating area. the size is a little off (the 9' side is actually 105"); but I've found that to be typical with rugs (they tend to round up to the nearest foot). the colors in the listing pics weren't quite what I was looking for (they appeared a little more earth toned) so I looked at reviewer pics to see what difference lighting made. the reviewer pics show the colors more accurately. the dark grey is more of a faded dark denim blue grey and the light grey is more like a dirty baby blue. the cream is a true cream and the beige has a very subtle green tint to it (kinda how gold sometimes has a green undertone). the rug has a light nap to it that's almost velvety so depending on which direction it lays the color will look lighter or darker. Over all I'm really pleased. If you live in a rural area, you may want to allow extra time for shipping. the carrier that delivered mine was located 1.5 hrs away and they had to reschedule a few times. (they sent txt msgs a day before to advise when they planned to deliver and another the the morning of delivery to say it was rescheduled) I'm including this info since I was required to sign so ppl know what to expect and can plan accordingly; this didn't affect my rating of the actual product.

I just put in a dark flooring that I love so I wanted a lighter colored rug. I feel like I have looked at thousands. I ordered this yesterday and it was here today! I love it. It’s beautiful, soft, nice to walk on in bare feet! I was worried about the chemical smell that others have mentioned but I actually laid down on this rug and stuck my nose on it… no chemical smell🤷♀️ So glad I ordered this. The price for this rug was incredible. So happy I ordered this one!

looks great just as I expected based of reading other reviews. Matches grey couch perfectly while still being light and neutral. It came folded and so it’s going to take a little to flatten (as expected, others said that in their review) Other than that it is perfect for the low price.
