I ordered this to replace a cheap area rug in my sunroom that needed to go, and this rug is beautiful. Truly a quality piece, you can tell this is a fine rug. My husband is a long-time carpet cleaner, and knows his rugs and carpets, and fibers, and backings, etc. He does carpets but also upholstery and fine rugs and Oriental rugs. He is often asked by his long-time clients to help with selecting new carpets and rugs for some of the finest homes in the area. He immediately recommended this based on the photos from the listing, saying if it's as pictured, it will be a quality rug. We have ordered other less expensive rugs from Amazon before, for the basement, bathroom etc., and they will often arrive folded up and vac-sealed for inexpensive shipping. This rug was packaged properly, rolled so as not to crease at all, and when unwrapped we could see this was indeed as presented in the listing: a quality wool rug. The colors are neutral as desired, blend in well in the area, just like we were hoping. Lays flat once it's been unrolled for awhile. Of course we have not had the need to clean it yet, but I can assure you our home would be the best reference for this, considering. The rug has such a nice feel as well, so much nicer than a cheaper rug (we had a crummy Berber rug there before and hated it). THIS is why you spend a little more :) Not only will I go straight to this brand in the future, my husband will be sending his customers to Loloi in the future as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The media could not be loaded. I recently got this 100% wool rug from the Chris Loves Julia × Loloi collection, and I can honestly say it’s a noticeable step up from the thinner, washable rugs I’ve bought in the past. The first thing I noticed was the thickness, substantial without being overly heavy, with a firm but cushioned feel underfoot. It lays flat quickly and doesn’t have the annoying creases or rolling edges that some rugs take days to settle from. The weave feels tight and durable, and the wool blend gives it a sturdiness I wasn’t expecting. There’s a little shedding at first, but it’s manageable and not unusual for this type of rug. The patterns have a vintage-inspired charm, with earthy, muted tones that are easy to blend into different spaces. For me personally, I think the colors bring warmth and elegance while also conveying a grounded and neutral feel. I will say, depending on the size you choose, the design can read differently. A runner with bold dot accents, for example, may look busier than the same pattern in a larger area rug I got. I personally did not like the pattern on the runner, but on the 5x7 I got it’s perfect. On a larger rug, the pattern may seem quite boring and dull. In my home, it instantly elevated the room. It’s soft enough to feel cozy yet dense enough to handle daily traffic. A rug pad helps keep it in place and adds a little extra cushion. My Boston Terrier definitely noticed it too – she seemed a little too interested in trying to scratch into it (terriers like to dig), so that’s something to watch if you’ve got claw-happy animals. I haven't noticed any unappealing smell despite it being pure wool. This isn’t a budget rug, but you can see where the extra cost goes. The craftsmanship feels high-end, and it looks like a designer piece instead of something temporary or cheap. While some may feel it’s a bit overpriced compared to standard rugs, I think the durability and beauty justify the investment, especially if it’s in a main living area or entryway. Overall, it’s a beautiful, well-made rug that adds both comfort and sophistication to a space. If you’re looking for a piece that feels more substantial than the typical flat or washable rugs and don’t mind paying a bit more for lasting quality, this collection is worth considering. Five stars from me. ✨

I love love love love love this rug!! I have bought a lot of Loloi brand and also ruggable style rugs off of Amazon for my home. I have appreciated them for their design, affordability, cleanability etc… When I had the opportunity to review this Chris Loves Julia Loloi rug I thought the price was going to be for the name brand, but the quality would be the same as my other [thin] Loloi rugs. This was NOT the case. This rug is about 1/2” thick and feels like quality! It is not your average, thin, Loloi rug. As I received a runner I decided to put it in my kitchen— it quite literally elevated the look of my kitchen and everyone in my family exclaimed how much they enjoyed it under foot. Anyway, it has now made me realize I want to invest in nicer rugs for my whole home (in time of course) because they really make a difference. Here’s some thing that may be helpful to know: -The rug lays pretty flat right out of the package, and because it’s thick there are no creases needing to be worked out, etc… -You can feel the weave/pattern under foot. Areas where there is a color changing pattern, the rug feels thicker/lumpier. From my experience with knitting, I’m assuming this is due to two colors of “yarn” having to be carried along in the weave. I don’t mind this, but I could see it potentially bothering someone with texture sensitivities. -My cats immediately thought this rug was a scratch mat!! 🫣 I started spraying it with some deterrent spray to try to train them to not scratch, but they have never done that with other rugs (probably because all my other ones are basically thin mats). -Pet hair shows on it, and balls up more, than on my other thin Loloi/ruggable style rugs. -The dimensions come in at 31”x117”.
