It’s darker than in the advertised photo. Colors aren’t as bright and vibrant. Rug is thin- I bought a thick rug pad to help. Synthetic material- not soft like a cotton braided rug.

I love these braided Safavieh rugs. I have ordered several of them in the past and they continue to be great rugs at a great price. This particular rug I used in my bathroom at the cabin. I bought a couple of sizes and used them in from of the vanities and in front of the shower. Using them for this purpose definitely required a nonslip pad underneath, at least initially until the rug gets worn in a bit, but I will likely just keep them in the bathroom. It is a different rug for a bathroom, but I think it looks so much better than those fluffy, lint-catching, difficult to wash. thick rugs used my most, myself included. I replaced those rugs with these braided rugs and I am so happy I finally did. They arrived rolled instead of folded and double wrapped in plastic. I was a little nervous buying braided rug online, as the other braided rugs I have were heirlooms and handmaid by my grandmother and her friends then passed on to me.
