SAFAVIEH rugs are the only line I’ve been purchasing for the past few years . I’ve replaced rugs in my home with this product line and shall continue on the purchase and recommendations . I don’t really know the entire mishaps or can agree on some of the comments but I shall say - I’ve purchased well about 5 so far and not one of my items are like the negative comments . I shall say when someone post a review I do t take it to heart , I learn from my own experience. I’ve never had an issue with any of the rugs I’ve ordered from this company. I prefer rugs and runners . I have hardwood floors and tiled kitchen . I don’t not like or use carpeting so these rugs , runners and mats work well for me . Matter of fact the last runner I purchased - SAFAVIEH Blossom charcoal … well I received it quickly (Thursday evening) …Same time frame I called for a return as I realized it was the incorrect length that I selected while multi tasking lol…Amazon quickly gave me a return label for pick up . I then ordered the correct length right after speaking to Amazon. Next day pick up service completed for the return by UPS . New rug was being shipped and delivered . Received my new rug (Saturday) along with my refund from the returned rug. The wrapping and shipping - perfect. The rugs are of good quality and durable - never had an issue . I use a vacuum that gives good height to vacuum rugs / runners / carpet etc. I clean my rugs and vacuum them weekly …. Still -No issues with them . ... show more

The rug is pretty, true to color and really soft which is nice. But it sheds like crazy. I have to vacuum it at least once a day, it gets all over my 2 year olds clothes when he lays on it, and I have rug dust bunnies all over the first floor of my house from this rug. I like it, so I’m hoping the shedding will go down and it’s just because it’s new. Update: still love it, shedding has gone down. Colors have stayed fresh 2 years running. My favorite part is that it hides the madness of 2 and 4 year old boys and is easily cleanable. ... show more

I bought the redmulti and it is rust not red or even brick red. Also be aware of who is selling I bought 3 from Amazon and did not realize that this was a different seller and now to return it I will be charged for shipping back. Not sure what I will do because it is to small for living room and not appropriate for bedrooms. And they did not even give a option to replace with a different color so I now have 2 6x6 rugs one charcoal color (the 2nd one I ordered) and found out after I ordered it that the red multi was sold by a 3rd party seller. I bought all 3 "Blossom" 2*3 Rugs (red, yellow and black) as samples for a bedroom project, truly hoping one of them would work with my existing true reds. The "red" in these rugs is NOT red, it is rust, but the rugs are simply gorgeous. The quality is astounding for the price.

Update: a year later and it still sheds like crazy!!! Still sad it is so perfect in every way outside of the shedding! Soo frustrated because I love this rug… the look the feel… but it is shedding like crazy! I’ve had it for a couple months and still… it gives off these little fibers EVERYWHERE!!

In my living room. Love red and use it a lot in my decorating. Wish the colours were stronger. It tends to look dirty even though it’s not. Shed a great deal at first(only into the vacuum cleaner)not so much now but it does need vacuuming every day at first. I like the fact it is unusual, pretty much 100% wool so will last a lifetime.
