I love this rug! It looks perfect in our house. The colors are spot-on, it’s nice and this, and I like the backing. The only complaint would be the shedding - though I’ve come to expect that from wool rugs at this price point, so I’m not taking any stars off for that. I’d buy it again.

Although this rug is plush, it is unraveling left and right. Sometimes I can pull the loop next to the piece that is coming up with tweezers and even it out a little, but it's like the actual rug fibers are stretching and breaking constantly. I have been trimming loose loops and using fabric glue to try to stop the damage to no avail. I have many Safavieh rugs and have never seen anything like this. Very disappointing. ... show more

This rug for the price is an excellent bargain. It was absolutely beautiful and I loved it. The only problem was the smell. The smell was so intense and so bad I could not keep it.

Because we no longer need cable we are in the process of filling the hole in our wall where the cable once was. Now we don’t need furniture in that a lot, but that left a strange void and too much hardwood showing. The room is already pretty long and narrow, so I thought a square rug might add some visual width to the space. The thing is, I loved the rug we had - just not the dimensions. I was happy to find this one - same brand and same colors. We have had the other for about 5 years and it has held up to many kids and some dogs. The pattern is great for hiding spills. The loops really haven’t been an issue even with dogs. I think two came loose in our other rug. The pics show the new rug first then the old rug. Love that they are both 100% wool and have a sturdy backing. The ones with no backing but wool are beautiful and soft, but fall apart pretty quickly. I can’t believe this was $140! ... show more

So, picture this: 5 months pregnant with your second baby, and you have done nothing for the nursery. It looks like the storage room of an eclectic vintage stockpiler meets a sports fanatics man cave. You say, I’m going to ground this room with a gorgeous rug that’s also durable. Then you see that for an 8x10 you might have to sell off your husband…until you get to this rug. I don’t know if I hit a sale or what, but this rug could easily be $800+ based on what I’ve seen. Saturated colors, beautiful design, rich wool, hooked for a solid feel, and unrolled dang near perfectly flat. Mine had no odor (tall order for a pregnant lady), came quickly, and is better than I could imagine. My nursery is still a work in progress, but this rug feels luxurious, opulent even. I live in an old formerly fancy historic house and it fits right in. My kid and our pets battle to get in this room to lay on the rug. My husband told me not to tell him what it costs because he doesn’t want to be sick. I want this rug in different patterns in every room of my house. I haven’t had to clean a stain yet, so can’t speak to how easy it is to spot clean, but I can say the durability makes me confident that a second version of it was I’ll hold up wherever I put it.
