I have had this rug for over a year now. It took a little while for folds to come out -BUT they do. The smell left after a week or so. The best part about this rug is durability! I bought this rug to replace a shaggy one in my living room, and at first, I was hesitant due to some mixed reviews. I almost went with a similar rug at At Home, but this one had such a great price and looked comparable. Let me tell you—I’m so glad I took the chance! This rug is absolutely beautiful. Yes, it’s on the thinner side, but a simple rug pad underneath takes care of that, adding a bit of extra comfort. The design and quality are even better in person, and it ties together my living room decor perfectly. I also purchased the runner, and it’s just as stunning! I bought this rug for the sole purpose of covering a hardwood in my living area. I got the 9x12. It is perfect. I got grey on grey and find the colors and striations to be quite uniform. I wasn't look for "pile", so this is perfect. It does feel food under my feet. I gave it a 4 vs 5 because of the slippery back. I have mine ancored under the sofa legs and TV stand, but it truly is very slick without the rubberized mat under it. I think this should be stressed more in the description of the product. It can be dangerous. The creases are not a biggie. They are relaxing, and a few swipes of my vacuum every day for a week, is lifting them just fine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you want a carpet that’s mainly for decor this is perfect. I wanted a carpet that was just for decor so I honestly didn’t have high expectations but this carpet is pretty solid. It’s a good carpet but if it’s for your kids to play around on or actually have for comfort I wouldn’t recommend, but otherwise go for it. There’s a tiny smell like the smell of a cardboard box but honestly you can’t smell it u less you actually put your nose to the carpet. The color is nice and basically the same in the photo. It was folded so it does have creased but i’m sure they will go away with time and honestly like I said I don’t mind. It’s pretty comfortable and stable. I’ve had several Safavieh rugs, which I’ve really loved. These were all part of the Vision collection. They were all tightly woven, really soft and comfortable, and had a good heft to them. This rug, from the Adirondack collection, was nestled in with other rugs from the Vision collection, which I totally missed when I ordered it. I knew when it arrived folded up instead of rolled that something wasn’t quite right. This rug will not lie flat. I have living room furniture on it. I have a gripping style rug mat. I have rug tape on the corners. Still, it continues to have waves in it and it’s bunching up, so much so that I tripped on one while walking across it. The color is decent, pile is ok and I think it would hold up well in high-traffic areas, but overall, it feels cheap and thin. I’ve just ordered a new rug, this time ensuring that it came from the Vision collection. I would avoid any from the Adirondack collection at all costs. Super annoying that this one was buried within the Vision rugs. Guess I was too blinded by the sale price to pay close enough attention to the description, but I can’t help but to feel a little duped. ... show more

I bought blindly because of reviews but do not let them fool you. I bought two large rugs, 10x14, and 8x10. I had just moved and had them sent to the new house. It has hard floors and I just wanted to put something to cover them while putting furniture down etc. I am not debating the price. Yes I knew they were cheap especially for the size so to some degree I didn’t have high expectations. I wasn’t expecting thick or plush etc. I am ok with cheap low quality stuff when it at least serves its purpose. These couldn’t even do that. My biggest mistake, to the fault of my own, was that I didn’t open them in time to return them. I was in the middle of a big move and got to them about two weeks too late. Had I opened them on time they definitely would’ve been returned. The 10x14 came folded. FOLDED. It took months before even the slightest creases came out. I ended up on it with an iron a few hours a day for about a week just to get it to settle. I have singe marks from the iron in some places where I edged the towel but that’s the sacrifice I had to make because this was the worst buy. You can see the edges are completely wrong and crooked. Three months later you can still see the middle crease. The picture doesn’t do it justice. Picture is THREE MONTHS open. You can walk and feel the tight creases that I’ll only be able to get out with some sort of heat steamer. I paid about 50 less than if I would paid for a cheap rug that I wouldn’t have to put the extra labor into. Price ok for size (I bought at 195) but 100 PERCENT NOT WORTH IT because of the way it was folded. Texture wise, yes it’s thin but ok. The 8x10 was rolled, but worse. It’s faded on the carpet side where the tape was on the outer. It’s so thin, I thought rolling would be better but it’s worse. The waves are so bad and uneven, it’s like wet fabric where it over stretches in some area. This one was not worth it for all reasons including price. I put it outside in the sun everyday for a week hoping for heat release. The picture is the third day. It’s rolled up in my garage now because it never flattened. An 8x10, a very decent one that I’ve purchased in the past from Ikea was only $25 more. Even though it’s preference, just know the colors are not as muted as the picture. The gray is dark so where it blends with the white, it looks like zebra stripes. See pic. I did not have high expectations, but I expected proper function. Spend the extra 100 or 2 any where else. Home Depot even. But if you buy these rugs in these larger sizes, you’re throwing money away. I can not speak for smaller sizes. ... show more
