Love these rugs. Bought size 5x7 for nursery. Came rolled so it took a few days with furniture and books on it to become flat. I could’ve rolled it the other way for the same result but wanted it on the floor. It’s soft enough for a baby , not overly plush. Looks great and the sage and ivory is perfect for the room. Okay, so I'm torn on this rug. It's a good value, I got a 6x9 for $98. The quality is good enough for this price point, it's on the thin side and there are some crinkles in the middle of the carpet I'm trying to smooth away, but it's soft to walk on (compared to hardwood) and seems well constructed over all. There was a slight smell upon unwrapping it, but by now (next day) it's already dissipated a lot and I don't foresee it being an issue. The thing I'm torn over is the visual effect of the rug. I got the ivory/silver - and it's CLOSE to the pics on the listing, but not exact. And when you're shopping for a large area rug to match your home decor, you want exact. The photos on the listing show it to be a much slighter and more delicate design than real life. Online it looks mostly white/ivory with whisps of silver/gray. In reality, the gray is very prominent, and as other reviews noted, it goes from dense gray on one side to wispier gray on the other. This gradient effect IMO is not highlighted in the product listing and it should be. For some designs/layouts this might work, but for my use (living room rug) it adds a slightly uneven/offsided feel to the room. Lastly - it may be because my last living room was a dark chocolate brown, but I feel very paranoid about getting this rug dirty. It might be in my head, but I've already noticed a couple little dark smudges, so hoping it is not super prone to showing every little bit of dirt. That will make cleaning/maintenance a pain. If it is a huge issue when I do clean it, I'll come back to update this review. Returning a big rug like this would be a hassle, to say the least, so I will probably wind up keeping it. I like the overall aesthetic, I was looking for a light rug to brighten up the space, and it does that - in retrospect, I just may have gone with something a little more subtle/creamier than something with such a stark gray design. ... show more

I’ve had this rug for about a month now and so far it has held up great and flattened out well after a few weeks. It is just the right softness I was looking for while still being easy to vacuum. The color is just like the picture and fits my space well.

I’ve had several Safavieh rugs, which I’ve really loved. These were all part of the Vision collection. They were all tightly woven, really soft and comfortable, and had a good heft to them. This rug, from the Adirondack collection, was nestled in with other rugs from the Vision collection, which I totally missed when I ordered it. I knew when it arrived folded up instead of rolled that something wasn’t quite right. This rug will not lie flat. I have living room furniture on it. I have a gripping style rug mat. I have rug tape on the corners. Still, it continues to have waves in it and it’s bunching up, so much so that I tripped on one while walking across it. The color is decent, pile is ok and I think it would hold up well in high-traffic areas, but overall, it feels cheap and thin. I’ve just ordered a new rug, this time ensuring that it came from the Vision collection. I would avoid any from the Adirondack collection at all costs. Super annoying that this one was buried within the Vision rugs. Guess I was too blinded by the sale price to pay close enough attention to the description, but I can’t help but to feel a little duped. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Size & color matched our space Look: looks just like picture and as described Fabric quality: very good Softness: yes like a carpet Durability: washed it 3 times so pretty durable Shedding: a little bit but not a significant amount Outdoor use: no For inside use Gave this 1 star because the rug had 2 distinct issues. For one the way it was rolled up was not a perfect roll so the edges never relaxed therefore constant tripping hazard. This renders the item useless. And yes we have ordered rugs before and understand there is a period of time and some weighting down and over time the rugs will relax but not this one. It was literally wavy would not lay flat. Second issue the smell. It smelled like bug spray that’s exactly what it smells like when our bug extermination service sprays around the property. After three machine washes the rug still smelled exactly the same and never relaxed so we had to throw it away. A waste of my time and money. I should’ve taken pictures but I thought I could fix the rug, it’s gone now. Just don’t buy. Do not recommend this product or this brand. ... show more
