I read 5,431 reviews on this rug, which is dumb because we’re talking about an inexpensive rug. I was not ready to purchase the 10k rug of my dreams, so I got this one in the 11’ x 15’ size. It is thin & not very soft, which is perfect for high traffic areas, or for disposing of bodies. I placed it on top of a .5” rug pad. You will want to do this if it is going on an uncarpeted floor, as it helped add much needed plushness. The color & pattern are EXACTLY as pictured in the listings: neutral but attractive. Any review deducting stars because of smell or “it doesn’t lay flat”, should be disregarded because those are the same people on HGTV’s Fixer Upper that walk in a room & gripe about wall color as if paint does not exist. Beautiful rug for the price. Sure, it's a bit thin but it's an inexpensive rug and our living room is high traffic (2 kids and a dog) so we didn't want something too nice. We ordered the navy and that was a huge gamble for me, since there were no review photos and I live for review photos. I am very pleased with the color. I don't know if it's because I have so many gray accents in my home, but the detail almost looks more gray than white to me which is PERFECT for us. I searched for weeks for the perfect rug that wouldn't break the bank and this is the one. I was in love as soon as I unrolled it. It's the perfect pattern without all the color that oriental rugs usually have. Perfect for my neutral farmhouse style decor. It's not very plush so it will require a felt pad under it to thicken it up a bit but the quality, color, and pattern make this rug worth every penny! This rug is seriously beautiful! I was skeptical ordering one without seeing it in person but I'm so glad I took the chance. I took a long time rug shopping online so I hope this review helps someone. I took pictures with different lighting to see the true rug. I placed this by my front door and another from the Adirondack collection in my kitchen with the same coloring. Although this is a lower pile rug it is not flimsy and seems to be holding up well with all the workers coming in and out of our house. The coloring is true to description and beautiful. I have more of a modern chic style in my house I was afraid this would be too traditional but it adds interest and looks more expensive than it is. ... show more

I had seen this rug on Overstock, but was worried about buying it because they don't let you return rugs, and some mentioned it being thin. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon prime, for the free fast shipping and return options. No need. yes, it's thin, However with hardwoods, a thick rug can be a trip hazard. This is a very pretty rug. Very soft fabric, and the ivory is light, bright, and not at all yellow tinted, which I'm thankful for. The "silver" is a nice medium gray. I'm very pleased with the price and quality. Mine layed flat within 12 hours and the packing smell gone in about the same time. Keeping in mind that this rug is polypropylene, which is the smell when first unwrapped, is because polyproplene is plastic based, so stains clean very well, which is super important in a light colored rug. I have owned this rug for about a year and a half, and I am still as in love with it today as I was the day I purchased it. It's in our Master bedroom, which doesn't get a ton of traffic, but I do have four kids 5 years old and under, so it's not like this rug gets VIP treatment either. I was actually really nervous to purchase because I was afraid it would look dirty and dingy all the time since I have kids... But it still looks perfect!! I vacuum it often and all dirt seems to come out easily and well. In the last year and a half, there are little to no signs of wear - the design is still perfect and there are no frayed edges. I did have to shampoo it once, and as another reviewer said, the edges started to curl. I simply set some heavy objects on the edges as it dried, and the next day the rug was perfect again (literally the same experience as when I rolled it out when I initially received it). The one downside is the rug is pretty thin, so if you are looking for a soft, plush rug that you want to curl up on, you would definitely need a pad under this. But for the price -especially considering how stunning it is - it is well worth it. I have received multiple compliments from girlfriends who have seen it. If I had to purchase it again, I would in a heartbeat. I actually have considered getting another for other rooms on our house since it is such a great value, so beautiful and has lasted so well. ... show more
