For the price this is a good purchase. The audio is clear and the charge port is readily accessible. The buttons are a little clunky and the electronic components are not the highest quality but it serves its purpose.

This was a re-order of the same hat purchased sometime last summer. I wasn't surprised that the original hat stopped charging. After all, my 14 year old wore it constantly nearly every day when he was home from school. He never had any issues with it pairing and was lost when the first hat stopped charging. So in April we re-purchased the hat. He was bothered that the "power on" voice had changed, but then when you replace a kid's favorite thing there's bound to be some complaints. But now, 3 months later, this hat has stopped charging. We've tried different charging cables, different plugs, blowing out the port. No luck. It's a few weeks past the return date so I'm off to find a replacement. ... show more
