We needed a 12 ft runner for our hallway, mainly to keep our older dog from slipping on the hardwood floors. This rug was a great price by a reputable company, Safavieh. It is Oeko-Tex certified, which means it is non-toxic and safe for children and pets. The light blue and ivory is a beautiful color and it goes with our other much more expensive wool rug in the next room. The rug is somewhat thin, which is fine for the hallway. We have a rug pad under it to keep it from slipping. We have had it for about 3 weeks, and there are two slight wrinkles at either end that have not completely flattened out. Overall very happy with this rug and recommend it. Our dog likes it, too! ... show more

The first picture is more accurate for the color. I do love the color and the print! However, it almost looks like there's stripes. The only other thing that bugs me is the wrinkles on the rug. I've been putting heavy objects to flatten the wrinkles, but I'm hoping that they go away the longer they're on the floor. It's def on the thinner side, but not too thin. I'm only renting right now, so it's worth it for me to get a rug that's nice but not too expensive. ... show more

I ordered this rug because it was neutral, I liked the pattern and the price was reasonable. $178 for a 9x12. I thought I would love it but I have been a little disappointed and I’m still thinking about returning. It is thin. The quality is ok. It takes forever to flatten out. You can see in one of my photos that it is still wrinkled and it has been laying flat with furniture on it for about a month. The pattern is more noticeable in some spots than others. My pictures actually make it look better than it does. The pattern kind of gets drowned out in bright light. As far as quality, it is soft enough but not dense or thick. I have a Unique Loom rug that I bought for a similar price and it is thicker, the fibers are more dense and it never had one wrinkle in it. As soon as this rug was delivered and I felt how light it was compared to my Unique Loom , my heart sank a little. This rug looks ok, my husband says it’s fine, but I feel like it could be thicker and the pattern could be more bold. You’re going to have to buy a rug pad with this one if you want any cushion. ... show more

Firstly, while scrolling through the reviews, pre purchase, I found 735 reviews that alluded to this product being above average, it was not. That is the most unsettling part, more so than the fact that this rug indeed does not settle. Beyond the fact that it is thin, bunched, and patterned poorly; the amount of people who purchased it due to the fact that it showed an 80% reduction in cost and thought they got a good deal, in reality literally thins the societal herd. I’m more disappointed by how I may never regain my trust in Amazon product reviews again. I would advise not purchasing this rug, unless you have a new puppy, which would create a parallel between what the puppy would likely do do on the rug and it’s quality. I hope you spend your time more wisely than I did, seeking out a perfect rug, instead of unwrapping a tightly wrapped product, subsequently spending innumerable time placing heavy stones all over it In order to try and garner something flat, only to be stuck trying to rewrap what has become a ridged and crested mess.
