This is a nice, quality rug made of thick material. It feels great on your feet and maintains its shape (i.e. stays flat on the ground versus rolling up on the ends) Surprisingly, it doesn't show dirt as much as I thought it would being it is primarily cream with a subtle orange accent. Despite my dog sleeping on it and my family walking on it with their shoes, the rug has managed to maintain its shape and color. I will note however, it sheds. Pretty decent rug for the price. Looks nice in person. It isn't very comfortable at all to have direct skin contact with, but find to walk around on. Only major issue is it sheds like crazy at first. I tried to mitigate by vacuuming when first put down and it literally filled up my large canister vac 6 times before it finally slowed down shedding. Talking like a full size garbage bag of fibers that came off this thing. Even then as it settles with use you must vacuum it a lot to keep shedding down. ... show more

Fit well in the L of my sectional. The color is a rust, but not bright or garish and can actually pass for a tawny color. My sectional is a tawny leather and it matches perfectly. It has a subtle carved texture which makes it look like more expensive.I put a non slip rug liner under it and it makes it more cushiony on a hardwood floor. ... show more

This is a beautiful rug. It arrived rolled and well packaged. It flattened out quickly. We got the 14’ runner for a long hallway. The tag says this is pure wool. It feels softer than I’d expect for wool, which is great. The pile is pretty short, but we do need to trim one door to fit over it. I expected this before ordering- even the flat washable ones were in the way of the door. The abstract pattern is visible yet subtle enough that it sort of blends in when you’re not looking directly at it. The colors are perfect for what we were looking for and go well with our natural oak floors and pine trim. The orange appears orange, rust, terracotta, or brown depending on the lighting. I included some photos in different lighting to try to show that. We have ours in an internal hall that doesn’t get much natural light. There are specks of a pretty green/gray color, and off white, mixed in with the orange. The rug seems very high quality. I hope it will hold up in this high traffic area, especially with a large messy dog in the house. The dog likes it too and has been napping there since we laid it down. ... show more

I love this rug and am giving it 5 stars despite the fact that I have now learned it is not ideal if you have a cat that is an a hole. Great feel, unrolls almost completely flat, no smell, perfect rust/cream/sagey blue color combo (the blue is more sage, but my rug is surrounded by green, when I’ve put blues next to it you get more blue tone. It’s like sisterhood of the traveling pants, what you need when you need it). My only issue, I did not pay attention to it being a mix of looped fibers and straight, meaning my cat (that winking little monster in the first picture)that likes to claw rugs has pulled some loops loose. We’re working on it, I like this rug so much the cat may need to go live with my sister though, we’ll set up a visitation schedule. Still a great purchase and another hit from Safavieh. Update: dropping to three stars because I’m still vacuuming weeks later to get out the shedding wool. I have vacuumed approximately 15-20 times. I think I need a bigger vacuum. I also have some ripples in the rug that have still not relaxed, so am a little frustrated. Still love it in my space, just isn’t “perfect” ... show more
