    • "Included" staps are bad quality. Good enough for cheap, just get your own straps and handles.

It folds up and rolls right underneath my apartment's (annoying) built-in desk. Hate that desk, since it's made of ugly, cheap materials and makes it so you can't put anything along that wall, except, now that useless nook in my livingroom is storage for a 4x folding twin-size bed that tucks perfectly out of the way under there when we want to use the room for other purposes. My one bedroom apartment just became a two bedroom, and there's space for everyone now! The included mattress is very hard, but I guess that makes sense for structural stability when folded. I just added a soft, rollable Japanese style floor mattress on top, and it's perfectly comfortable to sleep every night on it. It feels sturdier than I expected. It looks plain, which is a good thing, since that keeps it from standing out too much and clashing with the other furnishings in the room. I was able to fit in into average-size car when moving, and needed only one person to roll it up to my 1st floor apartment's front door, although I don't know how you'd get it into an upper-floor apartment. (Very carefully?) Getting it folded up isn't super tough, as long as you're an average-sized adult with a normal amount of strength. I wouldn't recommend it to a person with strength/mobility issues. It really does need some kind of fabric loop handles at the two non-middle folds if a single person is meant to be able to fold it up all in one go, and it doesn't have them included. It also needs a long strap connected to the center underneath, so you don't have to crawl around on the floor every time you fold it up just to get a strap under there. Without a real strap, it falls back open or ends up sitting crooked, and the included velco straps were too cheap to actually hold it closed after they were removed the very first time. I had to use a really long shoelace I just happened to have in the house, which doesn't look as neat as a real strap. Overall, it's not bad for what it is and how much it cost. I wish a little more thought had been put into straps to fold/unfold and bind this item while folded, though. Those cheap/non-existent straps, which are an integral part of using the bed for its foldable purpose, lost this item one star. If you buy, be ready to invest in your own straps, too. The ones that come with are basically just one-time use packing material. ... show more

Bought to use as an extra bed for guest. Placed a 3 inch foam pad on top and bedsheets and is very comfortable. Have decided to keep in living room area with a nice quilt and is fun for kids and adults to sit and or play on when visiting for a couple of hours. Easy to assemble, good value for money.
