* Overall Impression: -It's a good value for a very comfortable, supportive, easy to adjust SI belt with no unpleasant odor to it. * Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Good value for the quality and style. -Good quality, well made. -SI belt style. -1 main Velcro strap attachment (to put it on). -2 (one on each side) additional Velcro straps to adjust the fit, support and compression. -Padded SI area to wear over that area or the lower spine and back. -Provides moderate support and compression. -No metal or hard rigid stays or brace areas in it. -Breathable material. -Non slip. -No unpleasant odor to it. * Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well: -No instructions included. -The brand name is visible on it, vs a plain style. * Tips & Thoughts: -You'll really want to learn how to properly fit and wear these for best results. A lot will depend on where your painful area or the area needing support is. -For myself, I find that if it's lower spine near the tailbone that's the issue, I need to wear an SI belt very low, right over that area vs higher. There's a supportive, padded area on the back center of the belt that if placed correctly and low enough puts direct support and pressure on that area. It may be different in where you want to put it, if your pain is more in your hips or in other areas. -Note that you have the main adjustment Velcro strap to put it on, and two additional straps. Those are to customize the support and fit after you place the main Velcro strap to put it on. You may or may not need to adjust them, but having one or both sides tighter (or looser, sometimes I find I need one side tighter and one side looser, other times even pressure on both sides). If it feels too tight or compressive, those are the areas you’ll want to loosen vs the main Velcro strap. -Be sure to look at the listing pictures and how and where to measure for the fit to pick the right size. If you're close in size or between sizes, order the larger size vs smaller. You can still fit it well even if it's a little larger than you think you'll need. I’d go up vs down if you’re not sure on the size. Also be sure to measure over bulky clothing if you’re wearing it over clothing (I’d recommend wearing it over your clothing.) -Also look at the listing pictures for how it's worn, adjusted and placement areas. -Note, it’s not going to fit as tall of an area as a back brace, abdominal binder or rib binder, it’s a shorter area in height that’s covered by it. But this works well for the hip, SI area and lower back.

Good support for what I need but Velcro is really bad, size wise is not as great because if you are small then you have to move the band which at the end will make the Velcro part not stick well, easy off.

I have experienced lower back and sciatic nerve pain since having my son years ago. This back support brace helps with both! This brace has a synthetic rubber inner layer which gives it flexibility while also keeping its shape. Just make sure to measure the hips (not the waist) to find the right size. The Velcro can adhere anywhere on the top for a snug fit. The striped portion of this brace is a separate layer that is sewn into the back. This layer also attaches by Velcro and can be adjusted to apply the amount of pressure that is needed. I appreciate that the Velcro is strong enough to stay firmly in place, even if it has picked up a stray cat hair or two. I have used this back support brace while sitting and while running through my daily activities. It is comfortable to wear whenever needed. The synthetic rubber grips onto the clothing beneath it. I have had no issues with it bending, slipping out of place, coming undone, or any other hypothetical situations I could think up. It simply works!! 10/10 Will order again!

I have to wear my belt everyday. And as of the day before yesterday the Velcro is not holding. It’s a great belt while it does it’s job. It’s a shame. Now I will look for another. And it’s only been over a month.

This is a very solidly constructed SI belt. The main belt is about 4.5" high which is higher than others that I've tried. The entire exterior of the main part of the belt is velco receptive fabric. On the inside of one end of the main belt, a panel of velcro hooks is about 2.5" long and takes up the full height of the belt. The hooks themselves are the smallest I have ever seen. In fact, at first it's hard to tell that it is actually velco but once it is attached, there is no question. The belt stays secure. The tightening straps are permanently attached to the very back of the belt, sewn in with very durable stitching. On the inside ends of both tightening straps, the same micro velcro panels are sewn in and also attach very firmly to the main part of the belt, even when pulled tight. In all, this belt appears to be very durable and should provide long lasting relief when that pesky SI joint flares up.
