  • Cheap Fun šŸŽ® Not Fancy but Does the Job
I’ve used this S10 handheld a few times, and here’s the bottom line: decent for the price. It’s definitely a low budget item with cheap materials, but it does work. There are a lot of duplicate games though, so don’t expect a clean 520 unique titles. The 2.4-inch color screen is actually clearer than I expected, and the games look fine on it. The battery lasts a couple hours on a charge, which is decent considering it’s only a 1020mAh lithium battery. The whole thing feels light, which makes it portable, but also a bit fragile. Think of it like buying fast food—fills the need but you’re not getting gourmet. šŸ”šŸŽ® As for the games, it’s a mixed bag. Some are classics worth playing, others feel like filler. It reminded me of when my grandma gives me socks for Christmas… technically useful, but not exactly thrilling. šŸ§¦šŸ˜‚ If you want something cheap to kill time or keep kids busy, this will do. Just don’t expect it to compete with more polished handhelds. For the price, it’s fine, but it’s clearly a budget toy. šŸ‘šŸ“ŗšŸ”‹ ... show more

  • Low cost retro game device with lithium battery and acceptable features
This little handheld game device is an interesting device especially and most importantly considering the low price. It should only be considered at very low prices I think. It comes with 520 games, NOT 3000+ and multiple emulators that the image states, unless I'm missing something. When you first start it up you have to select Chinese or English and Chinese is the first option. For games I recognized Mario 3 and Contra and many or most of the rest I had never heard of. It seems like mostly 8 bit NES era games. The screen is small and looks like a Game Boy, but it is color and looks decent considering what it cost. Scrolling through the game list is slow, taking a minute or two to get through them all. It feels lightweight, and its nice the battery is rechargable. ... show more

  • Never got this to work
I was so excited to give this to my daughter, but once I took it out of the box to test it out I found that it didn’t work. I was very sad that this didn’t work as I thought it would be great to keep in the car for long car rides.

  • Includes a number of vintage games that were major hits. Control response on mine isn't great.
I grew up with what are now considered "retro" video games so the older games comprise most of my favorites. When I saw this little device listed as a 520 in 1 I decided to give it a try. I was initially impressed upon startup when I saw some of the big name titles that were listed. I immediately gravitated to one of my favorites that include a couple of red and green brothers and mushrooms. I got to the first enemy and the controller didn't register one of my inputs and I died. So I started over no big deal, but it just kept happening over and over. It would be ok for a few seconds and then I'd either get a really laggy response or none at all. And that makes it really difficult to play these style of old video games where you get touched once and die. My second biggest issue is with the included screen. I guess I'm not sure if it's the screen itself or the ports of these games but I played it for maybe 15 minutes and began to get eye strain and developed a headache. I never have an issue like that on any of my other hand helds or consoles except a Virtually well known boy that was a red and black flop from the mid 90s. With the other issues I didn't even attempt to hook this to a monitor because I didn't think it was worth the trouble. I'm not trying to bash this but after playing it, in my personal opinion it just isn't a good gaming device. ... show more

  • Stocking stuffer material, but only 100 to 150 games...
The media could not be loaded. THE GOOD: -------------- * Plenty of retro games in this little handheld console, but it's not over 500. It's like over a 100, but each game is repeated 4 or 5 times. * Would make a cheap, but cool stocking stuffer this Christmas. THE BAD: ----------- * Not 520 games. It's somewhere between 100-150. * Very cheap hollow build, lightweight plastic. But keep in mind what you're paying. I don't mind the cheap build because you're paying peanuts. You understand these are little novelty retro gaming devices, not meant to be collectible or high quality. Just stocking stuffer material. But what's not acceptable is the advertisement of over 500 games. I have to dock 2 stars for that, so I'll go 3-Stars. ... show more

  • Cheap Device with Questionable Games
This gaming device is is obviously modeled after a game controller from a station that plays games. The shell is very hollow and light and full of seams that are not well connected. The menu says there are over 500 games, but each game is on the list multiple times and some are even on the list multiple times in Japanese and English. The screen is oversaturated but has no means to adjust it. The sound is terrible, coming from the spaces where the dual analog sticks should be. If you want to mute the music, you have to use the volume adjust button to make it as loud as it can possibly be before it resets to muted and starts getting louder again. The d-pad is mushy and wobbles a lot making precise platforming impossible in some games. To the device's credit, it does have a rechargeable battery pack that uses USB-C and the fact that it has a screen built in in nice. ... show more
