There will be fumes/smoke from burning materials so please use in a place with good ventilation. Overall set up was so easy and straight forward and it comes with some test material. The machine itself is light and does not take up too much space. Good value for money and the functionality and quality of the engraving/Cutting of this materials is very good. This was my first set of keychains and they're not too bad i think the scorches are user error and not the machine. I am still learning the software and setting to get cleaner cuts.

This is the second laser I have bought and works great with both laserGBRL and Lightburn as long as I connect it to the computer. Engraves steel and wood with no problems, very clean. The laser also works as it is described and is quite powerful.
