The packaging, and fit and finish of this product is pretty much indistinguishable from the OEM one, but at a fraction of the price. They fit without issue into the charger, and behave like the OEM ones too (ie, the charger does go off after fully charged.) Some of the clone batteries I've tested have had serious fit and finish issues (like getting stuck in the charger), but these have none of those challenges. I don't use any of my M12 tools long enough, nor am I observant enough! - to report on how long they last fully charged (charging time seems about the same as OEM, too), but I've not noticed any obvious difference from OEM in that respect. Reminder: ALL of these non OEM batteries are a risk, in the sense that they have not passed the Milwaukee quality specs or tests, and few are UL listed, BUT THESE ARE UL LISTED (or claimto be). So are probably one of the safer bets, if true. (Note: In the last year, I have been using about 6 different non-OEM M12 battery clones (large and small) and NONE of them has had any major issues in performance. ONE tends to get stuck in the charger, so I don't use that one any more, but so far, the rest have worked reliably. Of course that's no guarentee of future reliability, or saftey - though I DO feel more comfortable with ones that are UL listed.

This aftermarket battery from S SKSTYLE seems to have a decent amount of run time and the power of 2.5 Ah is better than the 1.5 and 2.0 Ah of the genuine ones that came out a while ago. This weighs a bit more than the comparable M12 2.0 Ah though it’s a stretch to say that it will provide 25% more power as 10% more if that seems to be in the ballpark. While it appears to be well made and clicks in and releases better than the other two aftermarket brands we’re running for the M12 Fuel tools we got laying around, it’s questionable why one would go this purchasing route when the genuine OEM is only about 20% more in price though a bit down on power. Construction-wise, the plastics used are close to OEM but is encased in a two-part shell unlike the seamless one-piece design of the gen, and the copying of their fonts and graphics lends an air of sketchiness to their cloned product. The verbiage is also upside down from the original article, making it harder to read at a glance. For peace of mind and due to such a small delta in pricing from the original, one could do better than this unless they’re blowing them out at more than 50% of the pricing differential. For example, there are other after aftermarket batteries that provide 8.0 Ah of power for about $10 more and those come in a 2-pack. At its current price point and capacity, go the gen route.
