  • Best money I have ever spent!
Color: Beige Size: Standard Style: Modern
Bought these for $125 on Cyber Monday 2 years ago. I would gladly pay the full $175 price tag for them though. I work in a hospital and have undiagnosed A.D.H.D. because of these two things I need to be on high alert while at the nurse's station. With every other ear bud i had tried, i was struggling to focus on and hear properly either the content coming out of any other ear buds or the people/situations around me. These %100 resolved that! I can now CLEARLY hear everything inside and outside. And even when played loud, they arent loud to others around you. They are however, not good for using while in louder areas. While walking around downtown i had them maxed out (probably not good for my bones/ears) and struggled to hear the content playing through the bone-conducting headphones. The bluetooth setup is a breeze. The buttons/functionality could honestly be better as far as skipping or replaying content. But pause/play and volume control are intuitive and easy to access. The quality is durable and flexible. I wholeheartedly reccomend purchasing these! They have been a game-changer. I also reccomend buying a 2 pack of chargers on amazon though because they use a unique cable. ... show more

  • Still the Best
Color: Blue Size: Standard Style: Modern
Still the Best! My Favorite Open Pro Headphones Yet This is my third pair of Open Pro headphones, (due to lossing them) and they’re still my absolute favorite! I definitely recommend getting the standard size. I tried the mini version — it fit comfortably around my ears, but When pulling them down to rest on my neck they didn’t feel quite comfortable. I am an average size 5 ft tall person. My number one favorite feature, and the reason I keep coming back to this brand, is how seamlessly they connect. If the headphones are turned off and I get a phone call, all I have to do is power them on — they connect immediately and I can answer without touching my phone. The newer models make you power them on and answer on your phone first, which isn’t nearly as convenient. My second favorite feature is the voice prompt that clearly says “Power off.” The newer models just make a random beep, leaving me guessing whether that sound was for power, volume, or something else. Overall, these headphones are reliable, comfortable, and easy to use — exactly what I want in everyday wireless earbuds! I use them for runnung, audio books, and answering calls. I suggel with hearing people on the phone but seems to do fine on the headphones. ... show more

  • Benefits of Shokz over earbuds or headsets
Color: Black Size: Standard Style: Modern
Shokz headsets are perfect for athletic or conditioning activities. Not only do they produce high quality sound, I like them better than earbuds because 1) earbuds don’t fit my ear canal well and are continuously jarring loose and falling out; Shokz holds securely and comfortably around the ears. They are very lightweight and do not interfere with wearing eyeglasses. 2) it’s easy to lose an earbud. Shokz is one unit and much less likely to get lost. The ear pieces are connected with a thin flexible band that positions around behind the head/neck. 3) with the bone conduction technology, the ear canal remains open allowing ambient sounds such as conversations, traffic or other important surrounding sounds. Earbuds plug the ear canal and require removal just to converse with a friend or hear oncoming traffic. Shokz is preferred over full headsets which completely cover the ears. Full headsets are bigger and bulkier than Shokz. Full ear-covering headsets are hot and do not handle sweat as well as Shokz which allow full exposure of the ears. Shokz do not allow noise cancellation which may be preferred in some situations like on airline flights. However, noise cancellation can be a detriment in situations like when listening privately in your living room and someone wants to get your attention. With Shokz, you can still hear someone calling your name even without bothering anyone with the noise of what you are listening to. ... show more

  • Increased Safety, Decreased Bass
Color: Black Size: Standard Style: Modern
The SHOKZ OpenRun Pro headphones are an excellent example of how innovative audio design can redefine what we expect from sports headphones. I first noticed them during a marathon last year—so many runners wearing what I initially thought were hearing aids. Later, I discovered they were SHOKZ, and curiosity got the better of me. After testing them during training and races, I completely understand why so many athletes are making the switch. The bone conduction technology is brilliant—it keeps your ears open so you can stay aware of your surroundings, which is not only convenient but potentially life-saving when running through neighborhoods or busy streets. They’re also incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and impressively water-resistant. I sweat a lot, and these things handled my drenched runs like absolute champs. From a runner’s perspective, these headphones hit all the right notes. They stay securely in place even through long runs, and their open-ear design means you can hear approaching cars, cheering crowds, or fellow runners without sacrificing too much of your listening experience. The battery life is another pleasant surprise—it easily lasts through long workouts or even a half marathon without needing a top-up. I’m sure they could easily handle a full marathon as well. The quick-charge feature also helps, giving you enough juice for an extra run after just a short charge. For practical, safety-minded runners, this combination of awareness, comfort, and durability is hard to beat. That said, they’re not perfect. The biggest annoyance is the proprietary charger—why SHOKZ didn’t just go with USB-C in 2025 is beyond me. Lose that cable, and you’re out of luck until you can order a new one. They also don’t fold or collapse, so they take up a bit more space in your bag compared to something like AirPods. And yes, the audio quality—while good enough for podcasts, audiobooks, and upbeat playlists—won’t blow you away. It lacks the richness and depth you’d get from traditional in-ear or over-ear headphones, especially at higher volumes or in noisy conditions. Still, despite those flaws, I’d rate the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro a solid 4/5. They still offer good functionality, intuitive controls, and a clever design, even if they lack features like noise cancellation. They’re not about perfect sound—they’re about superior awareness. For runners, cyclists, or anyone who values safety and situational awareness over booming bass, these are an outstanding investment. They’ve become my go-to running companion, and while I still use AirPods for casual listening, the SHOKZ own the track. ... show more
