Description

Look no further than the Ryobi P505 for your household woodcutting needs. Its cordless power will let you take this all over your property for demolition projects or diy construction needs. At 4,700 revolutions per minute, it boasts power similar to corded circular saws, but with the portability of a cordless one. Along with this portability is a collection of features that make it easy to handle in different environments. It has a rubber grip over the handles that increases friction between your hands and the tool for maximum control. It also features an extra handle on the left side of the unit, giving you more control and visibility over your work. Beyond that, to cut wherever you need around the house, you can adjust the angle of the bevel up to 50 degrees. With a 5 1/2" blade included, you’ll be ready to go straight out of the box if you have a Ryobi battery in your collection beforehand. If you want to switch the blade out, an onboard compartment holds a wrench so you can make quick changes on the fly without having to spend time looking for tools. Whether you’re a diy builder, homeowner, or professional looking for a reliable backup, the P505 from Ryobi will serve you well.

  • Great little saw!
I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered this. But when it arrived, and I put the blade in and made the first cut, I was in love. This is a great little saw. It’s very light and easy to use for several hours without getting too tired in your wrist and hands. it struggled a bit with oak but I just let the blade do the work and it cut well. Definitely recommend this as a very versatile shop must have! ... show more

  • Great tool. Know it's limitations
Great little saw. Sturdy, has all the typically blade adjustments, & comes with a blade out of the box. Good for general construction, just know that it's not super powerful. Can cut 2x4s no issue and doesn't slow down, but doesn't have a tremendous kick back if the blade binds.

  • Great Saw
My old ryobi saw finally burned up after 15 years. Ordered this one and it's is a lot better than my old one. Seems stronger and cuts fast. I would definitely recommend this saw.

  • Not unopened.
It's a good tool at a great price, but not in original packaging. It was placed in a cardboard tray, then bagged, sealed, and boxed again. Packing material was under the tray, not on top of the tool where it would do the most good for protecting the tool. I would like to see a "new" tool come in it's original packaging... ... show more

  • Just what I needed...
This is a compact tool. Easy to control. Lightweight. I already have a few batteries and a charger, so the 'tool only' was great deal. Just what I needed for my small projects around the house. Ripped through a 1.5" x 1.5" piece of maple and the 1/2" particle board I worked with over the weekend. It cleaned up nicely with a few moments with compressed air. Be safe and wear eye and ear protection, if even for a few minutes. ... show more

My husband loves this! It was the BEST price and works great! We’ve used it for several project around the house. The noise is not too loud, it cuts great.

  • Best circular saw in the world.
Being a contractor, Ive been converting to battery powered tools. I got stuck with Milwaukee, so kinda stayed with their line of tools. Not any more. All they're good for are their M18 line of fuel batteries. I lugged around their circular saw for a few months. Then borrowed a clients Ryobi. How can similar tools be so universally different. There's no comparison. Ryobi is so far ahead. This little circular saw with us wee like blade cuts circles around Milwaukee. And some. I can't believe how fast, easy, light, precise, quiet, perfect this little circular saw is. And it cuts thru anything. I was installing butcher block kitchen counter top for a customer. It needed to be perfect. Got out my Milwaukee. 6 inches in, it slowed and started having issues. Grabbed the Ryobi out of desperation. Hadn't tested it yet, so was unsure. Huh, it breezed thru the butcher's block like butter, and wanted more. The only hiccup is it's saw protector keeps getting in the way. But with a Milwaukee M18 fuel cell, unstoppable. One fifth the price too. ... show more
