The media could not be loaded. This royal stretch purple velvet fabric is stunning. It’s just as described. I love the deep rich purple. It is giving me royalty. The thickness is standard for the price. The fabric is soft, durable, and drapable . I recommend that you be a somewhat experienced sewer, this fabric will move a lot, I am use to working with delicate fabrics like satin and silk so it was not that challenging nevertheless you just have to take your time when cutting, sewing and pinning. Overall I highly this fabric. I’m ordering 2 more yards to finish design.

The fabric is as described. I definitely would not describe it was thick, but its not sheer either. Seems to be of good quality and the texture is nice. The display picture is not an accurate depiction of the actual product. (See my photo) I ordered thinking it would match a pillow cover I have, as you can see it is anything but matching. What I received is a bubble gum, 80’s neon pink (product on the left, my pillow cover on the right). I only ordered a yard, so I’ll hold on to it for $12, but def take note if you’re looking for an exact match. Decent value for the money, just wish the color would have been accurately displayed.

I made myself a very basic dress with this fabric and paired it with a fun sweater, tights and cowboy boots, I got so many compliments on my outfit. I was shocked, I am not known to be someone who gets compliments on my outfit! Ever! The fabric is really nice, I've washed in the machine several times and put in the drier, seems totally fine.
