I couldn’t pass by this saw in one well-known store. Because it was offered at a price of just over a couple hundred bucks. I was hoping for something more compact, but it’s not every day that they offer such a volume of saws for that kind of money. It's always a pleasure to use a new tool, so my review is biased. but the old saw had a broken protective guard, it was difficult to change the angle, and the 45° cuts did not fit together without a gap. Therefore, comparison with Ryobi was a one-sided game. the blade plunges into the wood like a knife into butter, cutting all the moldings, the saw asks for more work, but everything is already over. With a feeling of slight hunger, the saw goes into the trunk with an almost full battery charge. ... show more

I bought the saw about a year ago to finish some railing work that needed 45 degree angles. (OK, I didn't really need it, but that was my excuse for buying it). It worked well for that purpose; the 45's were spot on. I also made over 20 cuts on 2" x 5" oak and it cut them like butter & I cut some 3/4" ply tool holders with it. It has more power than I thought it would have, so I'm impressed. The blades that come with saws are not supposed to be very good, but I guess nobody told Ryobi because this blade is pretty dang good. The icing on the cake is that the saw hangs up on my French cleat tool wall without the need for any tool holders. Oh yeah, the cordless operation is also very convenient. I'm a very happy camper!! ... show more

Says 550 cuts on a single battery charge. It wouldn't even get 50 Cuts if I were cutting butter. Other than the battery garbage,not a bad saw
