Really good product. Was impressed with how sticky the backing tape is. Light are bright. Easy to install. I had issues with 2 strands, customer support was great and took care of my issues in a very timely manner. I would definitely BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

I hate ladders. I am afraid of heights. So buying and installing about 450 feet of these were supposed to be my last ladder adventure. After installation, they were beautiful. The app worked fine and there were numerous options. But after 4 months, a section went out - not at the connection but at a random point. So I bought 50 more feet and replaced 2 entire more sections. On the frickin ladder. I didn't use them for a few months but turned them on for Independence Day and now about a third of the lights do not work. Again, not at a connection but where I'd need to splice - and that doesn't work well. I really wanted to like these but the point was to never climb a ladder again. And I will be doing that AGAIN. ... show more

I bought these lights to decorate my backyard patio and I am very happy with the result. The lights are bright, colorful, and easy to install. They come with a remote that let you control the color, brightness, speed, and mode of the lights. You can also sync the lights with music and create a party atmosphere. The lights are waterproof and durable, and they have a strong adhesive backing that sticks well to any surface. I used some clips to secure the lights along the edges of my patio roof, and they look great. The lights are also long enough to cover a large area, and you can cut them to fit your needs. The only downside is that the power supply and the control box are not waterproof, so you need to protect them from rain and moisture. I placed them inside a plastic box and sealed it with duct tape, and it works fine. Other than that, I have no complaints about these lights. I would recommend these lights to anyone who wants to add some fun and color to their outdoor space. They are easy to use, versatile, and affordable. My husband and I decorate for every holiday. We decorate around the inside of our house at the ceiling with lights. My husband is getting too old to get up on chairs and change the colors. We could never find a long enough package Until now. This is over 20 foot long. It fits the whole first floor. It has so many different color settings. Plays to music. Bought this set after returning a product from a different company that had noticeable difference in brightness between the strands. This product had no such issues, all string had equal brightness. Note that if you connect all 8 strands end to end there is some dimming from the voltage drop by the end. If you connect two strings of 4 (100ft each) to the two outlets off the power adapter there are no issues at all. The adhesive backing is very strong. I got a good bond on both aluminum gutters and painted wood facia boards. CLEAN with rubbing alcohol, then DRY with a separate cloth before sticking and you will have no problems. The app is great. You can choose any color and brightness you can imagine with the sliders. The 7 day timer let's you schedule the lights however you want. There are some multi-color options but those are preprogrammed. You cannot have the lights alternate between two colors of your choosing. So no purple and orange available for my Halloween setup, but plenty of suitable Christmas option. That would be a nice feature to add that could be done with a software edit. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was so exciting to get these, the sticker adhesive was not holding up well so we searched around our small town to find some clips (which my husband had to modify) I knew I could purchase clips online but we needed to get the lights up that day because it was my husbands only day off. This comes with a handful of clips and the instructions say you only need them on the corners but obviously we needed them much more frequent than that. We put clips at every link, hoping that holds well. Once all stuck and clipped we realized the 5th strip wasn’t working and the controls were not working. Tried to trouble shoot, no luck, contacted the company and they offered to send new ones but I kept explaining the issue of the messed up controls and certain strips only working on certain colors etc…. I started messing with the set and unplugged the 5th light set which seems to help with the controls, I figured out you can only connect 4 strips to each other and the other 4 strips have to be connected to the other plug on the main plug in, the package does not tell you that and the description online doesn’t tell you that either. Luckily we made the situation work but if you want a full 8 strips to connect these won’t work. One of the rolls didn’t work at all and the customer service is sending a new one. Customer service was kind and pretty prompt about returning emails etc but the description online is deceiving and the app doesn’t have instructions on how to use it.
