I spent days researching different bed-frames and was really looking for one that had an over 650 pound weight limit, had a decent looking headboard, and a footboard and one that was able to ship via prime as I needed it ASAP for moving into my new home. I’m happy I decided on this one as it is sturdy, has an 800 pound weight limit (which I believe based off the heavy duty metal used and the size of the parts) and this thing doesn’t squeak at all! Assembly took about 2 hours by myself and probably a good 25 minutes of that was just in boxing and unwrapping everything. Every single piece comes individually wrapped which is great because it means nothing with scratch itself during transit but it was so much plastic, tape and foam to end up throwing out. I should call out that I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to straighten back out some of the ends of the rods that lay horizontally across the frame as no matter how much I tired I could not get the other end to clip into place after the other side was already in. Simple light twist with the needle nose pliers to straighten it out and then they went in just fine and locked in. All in all I would definitely buy this bed frame again. ... show more

This is a sturdy bed. I like that I can use the underneath part of the bed for my storage boxes. My son doesn’t care about the details. He just needed a bed for his room. I purchased him a mattress, this unit does not need a box spring.
