We have this attached to our Grand Design Solitude 310. It is quite sheer so direct sunlight comes thru. When the sun is indirect (off to the side) the protection is much greater. I was hesitant to drill into the rig to hang this so I used bungee cords to attach the top and spikes into the ground for the bottom. Overall work well to provide shade. ... show more

We really like that it seems to be very well made, heavy and durable. Time will tell. The fact that the top is angled is good and bad. Good because it fills the space on your awning arm. Bad because you can’t tilt your awning once it’s attached, but not a huge deal. We do wish it were a bit darker. Very nice and durable awning shade. One person install but better with two people. Does shade from sun, yet you can see through to the other side. Plastic anchors folks, won’t work on gravel or hard surface. Possible solution: I ordered bag water weights for a canopy but have not tried them as of this review.
