Loses a star due to the hanging brackets. They are easy to install but the rail at the top of the shade is difficult to keep inserted into the bracket. The bracket likely needs to have a bit of an adjustment made to it, since it depends, largely on spring tension to hold the shade in place. I was able to install the shade, but it came down from the brackets two different times in the same weekend. If it continues, I’ll remove the brackets and I’ll drill directly through the head rail of the shade to attach it to the camper. Otherwise, it’s a pretty well-made and does what it needs to do.

The shade installed quickly and works mostly as desired. It isn't quite as opaque at night as I would have hoped, but good enough for my purposes. When viewed from the outside at night, you can still see a little, but it's obscured enough that it likely won't matter unless you're changing right in front of the window. I've seen others complain that it won't stay up. Unless the item is a defect or damaged somehow, you likely just need a little more tension on the lines, so loosen the hold-down buttons, pull the line just taught enough it'll stay up and tighten the button again.

This is not 100% blackout, but I don't see where they say that anywhere in the description. They are made of the same blind material that came with my 2022 Bullet 330BHS except a bit thicker if you can believe that. The other blinds I tried and returned were more like a paper material that I in no way liked. If I had any other windows that I wanted to put blinds on I would not hesitate to buy this exact brand. I really didn't think the install was bad. It did take a bit to clip them in the brackets (tight), but it took 20 mins overall. It looks totally factory.

This shade does decrease the amount of light coming through, however, the material is porous and not solid. Meaning, you can still see something/someone moving outside near the RV if it’s very bright outside, or backlit, but they can’t really see inside the dark RV.

I don't know why RV makers put one loud, clangy, aluminum mini blind in the kitchen window when the rest are pleated shades, but this replaced it very well.
