I ordered this for our RV awning. When you are camping and especially at the beach, you never know if you will be facing the sun. In the mornings or evenings, the sun can beam directly into the area under your awning and really heat things up. This screen greatly reduces this heat. It will block most of the heat in the area under the awning and cuts some of the heat in the RV as well, all while still allowing you to see thru the screen. The sunscreen comes in two sections. One short piece slides into the awning track. This piece can remain on your awning. When you extend your awning and this short section drops down, you attach the larger section with the heavy duty zipper. My wife and I found a place last summer where we can store and use our RV. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the river. One thing though, the entire right side, where the 12 foot awning is, faces west so in the afternoon it an get pretty hot on that side of the RV. The Shadeplus RV awning shade screen is the answer to that problem! This sunscreen is kind of unique in that it is actually two separate sections. The top section connects to the awning and has a heavy duty zipper. The bottom section zips to the top and can be grounded with four bungee balls and stakes. The mesh fabric is a pretty thick but till allows you to see through it a little bit. I like that it is UV treated so hopefully it will last a good time. In addition to cooling things down it also offers some privacy at your campsite. This is a very nice shade screen and I look forward to using it this camping season. ... show more

I say 90 shade block as you can barely see your hand behind it. The material is not as soft and flexible as others I have seen. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it it like a heavy starched shirt, kinda stiff, lol. It comes in a nice drawstring bag that I doubt I can ever fold back up tight enough to fit back in. Based on experience with similar materials, the fold creases will be tough to get out with out stretching pretty tight. Just in case that is important to you. I actually plan on using it as a shade cloth/ barrier over a poultry pen, so all things considered, it will work for that. I would say it is a pretty heavy duty material, only time will tell how it does under the uv light. ... show more

This sun shade was easy to install into the channel in most every awning. Just slide the shade into this round channel and pull it to the other end of your awning. Install the stakes and jungies to hold the bottom down. It has a zipper close to the to of the awning to take down the awning without taking it in and out. The piece left on the awning, can be rolled up into the awnig without an issue. ... show more
