Very handy product. Use it every day except for pulling downing a awning. Don't own a RV. Super glued A 3/4 Inch diameter magnet sold on Amazon on the handle end. Now it's more useful. Makes a great pick up tool.90⁹

This is a handy friction fit extendable hook. The extensions are a fairly tight fit so extending and retracting the pole is a little stiff however they will not collapse when you do not want them to so that is a good thing. You don't have to remember to screw them together to lock in place. I am not sure of an actual weight capacity but I believe it would be strong enough for other tasks as well such as pulling down an attic access ladder etc (however pulling heavier items may wear out the friction fit ends). There is also a threaded hole in the bottom of the handle if you need to utilize a different type of hook, magnet with a stud on it, or even extend it even further with another pole if you have one. I believe the thread on mine fits a 1/4-20 bolt/stud. The handle itself has a grooved rubber cushion that really helps with controlling direction of the hook much better than a smooth handle would. I needed a shorter extendable hook to help pull wire in my attic and since my attic is not that large I did not need a long pole. This one is a perfect length for me not only with that but it is also small enough I can keep one in the truck to help reach items in the bed. The two pack that I received also seems very competitively priced.

The hook is strong. The length of the extension rod is good enough to reach any part of the awning. It is lightweight and a sturdy rod, should last for a long time.

This awning puller gets the job done and works fine for reaching and opening awnings, but it feels a bit flimsy. The materials used are on the cheaper side, so I wouldn’t recommend storing it outdoors or exposing it to extreme weather conditions. It’s okay for light use, but I’m concerned about its durability over time if left outside.
