I am very please with this product as it coated my piece of furniture well and gave it the golden tone that I was looking for to match the cart to my other dining room furniture. My next step will be to shellac or varnish it to protect the finish and keep it looking nice.

Because the can (pint size) has a sunken seam and the cap on the spout is a tight fit, the cap is hard to remove. I ended up cutting the plastic "safety cap" off, then using a pliers to remove the metal cap. I then soaked the cap in mineral spirits and wiped the spout off as well. Works fine now. Might be due to some spillage in transport. The product went on nicely and looks fine. Time will tell it's true value. SK ... show more
