In July, I was super into OJ, and the fresh squeezed stuff costs about $11 a bottle (like 16 ounces) by me. I also wanted to make lemonade, and this juicer was so affordable. (For some reason, the 24 ounce was the least expensive, and I got that one.) I use this at least 4 times a week, usually 5-6. Homemade lemonade (use the "State Fair Lemonade" recipe, it's worth it) is so, so good and so indulgent. It genuinely tastes like you're at the state fair. And this device is so EASY and fast. It's very simple to use and intuitive, and noise isn't an issue because it's tiny. I precut 4-10 lemons or oranges, and I'm done juicing them in seconds. (I save the peels to make the lemon simple syrup for lemonade, which is also so easy it's unbelievable.) My mom brought me a bag of Costco oranges, and I precut four to make juice. By the third, I already had over 16 ounces of juice, and the juice it made was better than the ones at my local markets. Overall, I'm skeptical of anything that does one thing, and it takes a lot for me to justify any unitaskers in the kitchen. This thing is so worth it for so many things, and you never have to rely on citrus concentrate again. It holds so much juice, and I was honestly shocked at the quality and function of this thing for the price — it cost slightly more than one OJ in the store. It does not leak, and the reservoir even doubles as a small storage pitcher with a lid. Attached is a pic of the juice from 3-4 oranges — I had to get a second jar to hold it because I'd already cut more. Also, it didn't separate in the fridge at all in three days. Every single day since I got this, I drank real lemonade or OJ, and it made summer so much better. I am very pleased with this purchase. I can no longer get my favorite Minute Maid frozen lemon juice in my local grocery store. And since my hands don't work well, it is difficult to manually squeeze lemons. So I thought that I would give this a try. It works just fine. Today I squeezed the juice of eight medium size, perhaps a bit smaller, fresh lemons (please see photo). The juicer did a great job. I did not have to press down hard. It thoroughly juiced each half. It caught most of the pits, although some of the smaller ones got through the strainer. So when I was done, I had to strain the lemon juice through a regular mesh strainer. I managed to have enough juice to fill the compartments of one ice cube tray. With about a tablespoonful left over. Once the cubes are frozen, I'll put them in a ziplock bag and freeze them. I would venture to say that each compartment of the ice cube tray holds about 1/8 of a cup of liquid. I do like the pulp, but since I had to strain them through the mesh strainer I lost the pulp. I would not hesitate to recommend this juicer. It's easy to put together and take apart for cleanup. So now whenever I see a bag of lemons, or perhaps even some oranges, I won't hesitate to buy them and juice them up. The juicer itself was packed well in it's original packing. And it was packed well by Amazon. The juicer looks nice and it is not heavy, but it also does not move around while you are using it. It was delivered on time. Thank you. ... show more
