I had my wife turn on our 3 sink fuacets and flush the toilet and this thing never got colder while Inwas in the shower. Over the past 2 years I bought 2 more to have on hand on a shelf as backups. I like that you can duct exhaust outside. Vs a camping heater this one is nice with 120v normal wall plug (has gfci inline). We now live full time in a solar off grid cabin, it now has hot water like our house did. Youtube videos are great for research on all the systems you will need to know about. Installation notes = I got all the parts at home depot. It helped that this was new install so I planned for all the parts I would need. I ran the exhuast through a pellet stove wall thimble to keep combustible material away, and type B vent in said thimble for another 2 layers of heat protection, then pack steel wool to keep the exhuast centered in the B vent and angled slightly downward like the manual says for rain to not drain back towards the unit. I got a tube of 3m fire caulking at home depot and coated the steel wool packing on the outside to create a bug and rain barrier from the exhuast pupe to the b vent, and b vent to the thimble. I used siding cuslk under and on the edge of the thimble. You have to remove flow reducers when using tankless heaters. Low flow devices will limit the flow and the sensor will shut it off. I have seen a professional plumber pull out restrictors with needle nose plyers. Plan on doing your own propane hose as it doesnt come with a bbq type hose like camping heaters do. You have to pipe it like any other home plumbing/gas device. I used the auto switching RV regulator to two tanks outside. From there hard pipe to to a sediment trap w inline valve and then cap, off the tee into the house to a valve w flared male, then yellow device flex pipe to the unit, then you will need a male flare to npt adapter for the yellow flex pipe to the unit. This is a house unit not a ready made camping unit w included bbq type hose so plan accordingly. Also get a tankless service kit set of valves to flush the unit with vinegar every 6 months to remove calcium scale. Youtube has videos on gas sediment traps and tankless service valves. You will want an expansion tank as well and plumbing up to the over pressure valve to drain outside in the event of an emergency.

After 3 months the heater stopped working and just reading Ec. The window for return is now closed so it’s just a useless piece of junk sitting on my wall. I wish I could send it back but I am in the Bahamas and this makes return very difficult.

This is my first tankless water heater. I replaced a 40 gallon tank heater. Water heater is in the laundry room. Picked up almost 4 sq ft of floor space, by eliminating the tank heater. I live in Mesa AZ so we dont need alot of heated water especially in the summer. This unit is everything I was hoping it would be . It was easy to install, I just had to move some pipework. Pretty easy and straight forward. My old heater was gas fired so I had gas in the laundry room already. This unit works incredible.This is a high quality water heater and gives me endless water. Can't say enough good things about it . never got excited about hot water before.

I was happy with the water heater until it started giving an E1 error and failed to fire up over and over again. Attempts to reach anyone in tech support with any knowledge was laughable. A lot was lost in the translation from Chinese to English. essentially you're on your own. When I was able to talk to someone they told me to pack it up and return it and wait for my money back. They would not replace it or offer any repair or assistance. Feeling frustrated, once I got it fired up I let it run for 30 minutes and now it seems to be doing okay and I am pretty happy with it. I'll probably buy another one with the understanding that what you see is what you get and don't tie up any money you might need in the event you get a bad one

I want to share with you what I have to do to take a shower and wash my hair. I get in the shower, turn the handle to hot and turn the shower head to the wall and wait for it to turn hot, then soap up and rinse it off, quickly, then the water turns cold. I turn the showerhead away from me while it is cold and wait for it to get hot again. When it gets hot again, I put shampoo in my hair and rinse it out then the water starts turning ice cold again so I quickly turn the shower head to the wall, away from me, and wait for it to get hot again. Then I quickly put on the conditioner and rinse it out before it gets cold again. About 3 cycles to take a shower and wash my hair. I haven't timed it to see how long the hot water lasts or how long it takes to get hot. I'll update it with that, though.

Beyond the non-US standard fittings, I had the following issues: Unreliable, doesn't always start and gives E1 error Only starts when faucet is on full, not when faucet is partially open. Water temp varies while in use between hot to warm and back Tech support is from China, they don't answer my questions but send prewritten responses based on what they think I am asking Susceptible to freezing and bursting unless you drain the tank when outside is freezing I don't think the flue instructions are safe to follow
