Pleasantly surprised with this reel! I got the 2000 size. I was surprised to see that it is almost 100% metal, I couldn’t find any plastic (besides the foam pad on the handle) The finish on the whole reel is excellent, my favorite part is the anodized aluminum. Drag is smooth and has a good ring to it. Overall everything is quite smooth and again I was surprised to see that from a $20 reel. I will be buying more from RUNCL in the future. ... show more

This fishing reel is definitely one of those that catch your eye when it is on your boat. The design and color scheme is very cool and really adds to the reel. The bearings roll amazingly and it is such a smooth running reel. It is the perfect reel for bass fishing. It fits on my pole quite nicely and really works nice with my setup.
