I was initially a little leery of this item because I didn’t know how the “Halo” effect was going to be. Let me start out by saying these things are extremely bright, I had to add a dimmer switch so my front porch didn’t light up the rest of the neighborhood. The halo effect is super cool and looks really good. Of course one of my holes landed under a joist, but these are slim enough it didn’t matter. I highly recommend them! The media could not be loaded. I LOVE these!!! So easy to install! I had the help of my son in law, but I did the fun part of drilling the holes and installing the covers. He did the wiring. So beautiful and I liked having the option to choose the light setting. The dimmer option is great. Not having light in this room for almost 8 years was getting to me.
