I opted to get this pea coat in the color option named “Dark Gery” but I’m wondering if that’s a typo for Dark Gray? Regardless, it’s a dark gray and the photos depict it perfectly. I have a teenage kiddo who’s turning 15 soon so he’s still growing like crazy and I wanted this for him. He probably could have been fine with a size small but I decided to size up to a medium for him. It’s indeed a bit big on him overall at the moment. It’s too long in the sleeves and the overall length is longer than ideal but I’m going to have the sleeves taken up and I myself moved the buttons over a little and by the time cooler weather gets here it should be ok enough for him. He likes the classic look this has and that it can be dressed up or down. It is single breasted, has 2 slant slip pockets and a small inside left breast pocket on the inside. The shoulders have some structure to them with a very thin padding that I appreciate. They’re not full-on shoulder pads but again, just a very thin layer of padding that is just right to give the shoulders nice shape. The back bottom hem has a center slit vent to give you better mobility and comfort when you walk and sit. The buttons were all attached securely (again, I had to remove them to move them over about an inch for a better fit for my son) and they were evenly spaced. The inside is fully lined, even the sleeves, in a silky polyester fabric that helps this have an elevated look. For $59.99 it’s a nice looking coat that is done well for the price. This is machine washable being it’s polyester but it has a wool look and feel to it without the need to have it dry cleaned. It’s I’d say, a medium weight coat that’ll be perfect for colder fall days and for winter it’ll suffice for dressier occasions with a sweater and perhaps a scarf. It’s a coat that will work great worn with jeans or with slacks. My son will be looking for a part time job next year and this will look much nicer than his usual winter ski type jacket for that when it’s cold out and for any occasion where he wants a more sophisticated and “grown” look when it’s cool enough out. It’s currently July so too warm to be worn now but my son toughed it out and wore it around the house a little bit sitting, standing and walking around to get the feel of it and he really likes it. I quite like this coat as well and am glad I requested it for him. It’s just as I expected (and perhaps even a bit more with the slightly structured shoulders.) We both give 2 thumbs up.

This pea coat is very stylish. It fits well for me and is true to the size I purchased. I got the 2XL so that it will sit nicely over other clothing and not feel restrictive. The pockets are deep and exactly where I want them for comfortable resting of my hands. It is definitely warm, but it does feel a bit thin. Because of the thin feeling, I am not sure how durable the jacket will be long-term. It feels well made though, so it is possible it will be just fine. I have not had a chance to wear it just yet, as we are in the middle of summer, but I feel prepared for trips to the mountains and to colder areas of the country this winter. So far, it appears to be worth the price.

Pros I am a fan of the Runcati brand. I already own a few T-shirts and night suits from this brand, and I am very happy with the quality and fabric. Even after washing them multiple times, fabric is great. That is why I ordered this men's pea coat for my son for the upcoming fall season, and I am actually loving it. This is a medium size and is made of 100% polyester. I find it true to size. It is machine washable, which is something that really attracted me. It features a single-breasted design with a classic notch lapel and two side slant pockets. Pockets do feel warm enough for the chilled weather. It has long sleeves and a regular fit style. It works really well as a layering piece over other clothing. Surely creates a style for Men's wear for fall season. It feels warm enough to provide comfort during cooler weather. If you wear layers underneath, I can see it providing additional warmth during winter as well. The material feels soft, gentle, and durable. Although it is made of polyester and wool blend, it has a quality finish that feels comfortable to the touch. According to the brand, it is wind-resistant and designed to keep you warm. We tried it indoors in air-conditioned conditions, and I could feel that it helped retain warmth. I really like the quality and overall construction. The style looks great and is versatile. It is true to size and fits well. Cons Since it is currently summer, it is too early for me to fully test its performance in actual fall or winter weather. I will need more time and colder temperatures to evaluate its warmth and wind resistance. Overall, I am very happy with this men's sport coat. The quality, style, fit, and comfort are exactly what I expected from this brand. It is soft, durable, machine washable, and works well as a layering piece for cooler weather. While I have not yet tested it during the fall or winter season, my initial impression is very positive. It is true to size, looks stylish, and feels well-made. My son really likes this coat, and since it’s his first peacoat-style jacket, he’s excited to wear it. The fit is good, the length is nice, and the classic design looks great with both casual and dressier outfits. Unfortunately, the material was a big disappointment. It feels rough to the touch and reminds me more of craft fleece than a quality coat fabric. It also wrinkles very easily and doesn’t have the weight or polished appearance I was expecting. While the buttons and pockets seem fine, the overall material makes the coat look much less expensive than it appears in the listing. That said, my son is perfectly happy with it, and that’s what matters most. If you’re looking for an affordable coat mainly for the style, this may be enough. However, if you’re expecting a soft, premium-feeling peacoat that looks and feels high-end, I think you’ll be disappointed.

For the price, I have to be honest my expectation wasn’t super high, but I’m happy to say I was very impressed. It is a very sharp looking pea coat and the quality is significantly better than I was expecting. The thickness of the coat is just right to keep warm but thin enough to still look very stylish and fit very comfortable. I think the sizing is true to size based on my preference as I tend to size up on overcoats like this just for my personal preference of fit. For a coat that I will wear here and there I think this is a very affordable coat that looks considerably more expensive than it is.

This pea coat feels very nice and looks good! However we needed to get a large and not a XL. Lost some weight so it fits me in the shoulders but is too wide in the abdomen. If this coat was a slim fit or athletic fit this coat would look better on me. It’s warm but not for really cold weather. More for fall weather and not winter. It’s great to have pockets and the material feels good.
