Used for camping, picnics, even as a dog blanket, it has held up with no issues. I never thought I would spend $100 on a blanket that I had not used or that didn’t save my life in someway. I saw this same blanket hanging in a high-end outdoor shop in the Smokey mountains in East Tennessee. I was able to buy it for $35 cheaper on Amazon and I’m glad that I did. This blanket is super cool because it supports national parks but it is also an amazing blanket. Imagine a north face puffy jacket turned into a blanket. It’s very rugged, has a beautiful pattern on the front and keeps you extremely warm. I am a lineman and take this blanket on storms with me, and it has been very comforting and very durable , and also keeps me warm whenever I need it to. My wife was not happy with my initial purchase, but she has come to understand how much I love this blanket, and how special it is to me. Just buy one. The family loves our Rumpl blanket. This is actually the second one we purchased. We use them during the early spring and late fall kids sports seasons as we cheer them on from the cold sideline or bleachers. They are so warm and great to stash in the car. They also wash up super well.

This blanket packs down very well. It's comfortable, but doesn't keep you as warm as you think it would. I've looked all over the place for an "R" value, but couldn't find anything. The Smoky Mountain design is pretty awesome!
