Had to splice the new pump into the existing wiring, but other than that, what a great upgrade to an automatic bilge pump. That's one less thing to think about while on the water!!

Bought this hesitantly thinking it would be to small for my boat, but it works great pumps out faster then the original pump from factory. Due to the design on my boat my bilge takes on water when the kids climb in and out of the boat soaked in water and this pump keeps it nice and dry

Most automatic Rule pumps seem to last about 1 year for me. If you want a pump that lasts longer you'll need a separate float and pump.
